    hi,

    To all who have sense of humour... getting arrested in what circumstances is the part of the thing. It all depends on how much you love each other... if the arrest was in serious case I would have been serving a sentence, but it was a womans panic mode... which now people would say i am being sexist....

    So i would say..lets not hit the knuckles on the fingers...and share experiences of life which can help each other....thats what visa journey is here for

    hi,

    You always send the package in which ever envelope it goes. Dont go for just flat rate box because its cheaper. Use an envelope if it sends the delivery faster. I always send USPS with signature confirmation because when you do that you get the name of person who signed like if it is John Smith you get J Smith.

    It doesnt make sense to worry about 20 $ when you are sending very very important paperwork...Remember US is land of opportunity where you can earn 20 bucks in an hour.

    Hi,

    I would say either get married in Pakistan or USA. The best thing to do is get married in the country , from where the person is going to immigrate to the USA.... Pak to USA visa is tough but if u can marry in Pakistan and then apply for CR/IR visa it would be the best. It will take more than a year but its good.

    Hi,

    I want to share the experience I had with my RFE, because i was arrested during removing of conditions. I got a RFE and then i submitted the documents required by CSC to remove the conditions. The lessons learned are:

    Never fight with your spouse till the end you end up being arrested.... I was saved because in the fight my wife was not physically hurt( like bleeding) . we had a argument only

    During the RFE process give all documents as desired by the Service Center.

    Say the truth. Dont lie.

    hi,

    The argument was like an argument, she did not press an charges. the State had... instead of giving me the chance the cops took me and charged me with domestic battery. I had threw water on her and threw her cell phone on the floor. I guess i had the worst day of my life.

    My wife is going to file an affdavit that we are still together As soon as my lawyer gets the the trial date I am going to send the the copy of the trail date to the California Service Center with the affadavit

    hi,

    My lawyer just called me to tell me that he will try to get an earlier trial date. If the trial date is after February 16 2010. I will just write a letter with my wifes affadavit that we are still together and it was a one of thing with other documents of residency , DL and other records which ever I can provide to them I will.

    Other wise I am going to leave it to God. If they want to throw me out for one small argument they can.

    Hi,

    Its time for distress...... I was arrested on Domestic battery after a little argument with my wife on November 20. I just received the I-797e Notice saying that they require more evidence.

    They require FINAL COURT DISPOSITIONS which should have either i am convicted or case was dismissed by February 16. The problem is as follows:

    My court date is on February 10, 2009 and the lawyer is going to set it on Trial so on the next date he can get the case dismissed as me and my wife are still together and everything is fine with me and I have no criminal record.

    What shall I do?

    Hi,

    To all the people who are telling to use FedEx... let me make one thing clear FedEx does not deliver to P.O Box addresses. . Dakine your shipment got screwed up because you did not ask that whether the FedEx deliver P.O Box addresses. When sending important mail you always ask little questions..... That helps..sounds stupid though... I had been to one of the stores and they have a small sign which says and also on their Shipping forms that FedEx doesnt deliver PO Box addresses

    You can ship it by USPS only.

    The best way to ship it is Overnight Express Mail via USPS. I paid $28 .... i consider it spending on expensive dinner. So i dont have to worry. $30 is worth spending...we can earn in 2 hours back again.
