  1. 2. You just need one for that purpose and promise that you are going to finish the series.
  2. Hi @ToddD, Could you please share the name of the company you used? I am planning the same move from BC to Seattle and finding a right moving company is a headache. You are absolutely right that prices are all over, so far I've got from $7000 till ~$10000 for 3 bd apartment.
  3. I am from different category, but try to read everything everywhere. I remember several weeks ago I saw here several recommendations for transportation companies (moving from Canada to US), but cannot find it unfortunately. Could you please point me in the right direction?
  4. I also read on IR/CR forum that once you activate your green card - you immediately lose your Canadian medical coverage. I wasn't able to find a confirmation in any official resources, but it's something you also need to take in for consideration.
  5. I have a question - do people need to bring original of bona fide job offer for the interview or just copy would be fine?
  6. Came across this article and was really surprised to see the statistics they mentioned (Consulates Deny 61% of Employer‐Sponsored Immigrant Visas). I was told by lawyer/read on the internet that consulate process is less risky since officers at consulate don't have an authority to deny a visa as opposite of officers working at USCIS in the USA. Have anyone heard of this? https://www.cato.org/blog/consulates-deny-61-employer-sponsored-immigrant-visas
  7. Well, the dates they mentioned for Family Preference aren't accurate either. According to the tracking sheet, people with DQ dates from August 2020 to December 2020 have received their ILs. Still upsetting.
  8. Do you think we will see IL for EB this week? Monday is August 1st. I know I know - nobody has a magic ball, just curious what others think.
  9. Oh! You are right! Will keep my fingers crossed that you WILL receive it TODAY!
  10. I don't want to discourage you, but I think they usually send IL early morning. Glad to be wrong though.
  11. Thank you! Didn't know that you can use NEXUS card after surrendering PR/waiting for passport!
  12. Congratulations! And thank you for sharing! Can I ask you about logistic? Once you are sworn - you have to surrender your PR card and then apply for a Canadian passport. I think, right now, it takes several weeks. Are you going to wait it out in Canada? From my understanding, you are free to leave while you are waiting. But how to get back? As a PR/Canadian citizen you cannot enter using US green card. What's the process here?
  13. @Sorrel is your DQ March 1 or March 11? Tracker says 11th now, but i remember it was 1st?
  14. Congratulation @Sorrel Please keep us posted! I am curious if we will see any other IL in May!
