  1. Ok perfect thank you ... so in meanwhile I go ahead and file for extension of EAD as 5.5 months left?
  2. Hello everyone, My case has been identified as a potential interview waiver application (informed by USCIS) and is currently pending at the San Bernardino Field Office and has been assigned to an officer for adjudication. I had not submitted I-693 Medical records with my application in start (my mistake ) assuming that I can take with me for the interview . As per the adjudication process I will be getting a RFE. I have my medical records (sealed) ready, but since no interview will held,, so should I wait for RFE or send out I-693 to San Bernardino Field Office? (655 W Rialto Ave San Bernardino CA 90249). So if I send I-693, would they be lost somewhere and delay the process or I wait for RFE? Also my EAD expiring in September 2023. Thanks
  3. Thank you. the gap between I-130 and I485 application (i485 application included i-765, i131) was 5 months. I130 approved, i131 approved, i765 approved. Got ead for 2 yrs, expiring in september. Finger prints done in June 2021. So my question is how can I check that I-130 and I-485 are linked/connected together? I will file for renewal soon.
  4. I got approval notice for I-130 approved. I was not aware that so I filed I-130 and I-1485 separately. Probably thats why its taking me longer. Now my EAD is expiring in September 2023. Looks like I have to file for renewal in couple of months. I didnt appear for interview yet. My job requires me to be green card holder as there are some duties I cant perform while having EAD co9p. So I submitted a request to expedited. Thats how I got to know that interview is waived. so withdrawing from F1 status is not good step.
  5. I was told that I do not have to maintain a F1 status if my I-130 is approved and got EAD already. and in order to get session breaks, that was the only way out. So making sure if its okay to finish last semester without F1 status, if I have a way of legal presence in USA (i.e. EAD CO9P)?
  6. I asked my congressman if he can expedite my case, (reason was that without GC I am not able to do 30% of my job duties). My congressman told me that my interview is in waived category
  7. Hello everyone, I was on F1 and completing my doctorate (phd). Got married in 2020. My I-30 got approved and I received the EAD CO9P valid for 2 yrs (expiring in September 2023). I withdrew my F1 status and still completing my classes. My question is: Can I still go to school and finish my last semester, while I have EAD (category CO9P)? Or I should not have withdrawn from F1 status? Also, my case has been identified as a potential interview waiver application and is currently undergoing normal processing at the NBC prior to field office review. As an interview may not be required, application may be sent to a field office, other than your local office, for final adjudication.
  8. He used only his income to sponsor his parents. His friend is a co- sponsor (100k+) Not sure why they are not convinced with both of those sponsors so asking for mine aswell. If I say I want to wait for my green card and then I will submit I-864 A then is that a selfish approach? Offcourse my husband may not like this approach. But Im so done with delaying of my case, (and once wrong category entered by my husband and it got denied) and my job requires me to be greencard holder and I expedited my case but nothing happened yet. In this scenario I cant open more doors for me that may or may not delay my case.
  9. I have similar situation. I am on F1 status and I married citizen and all of my cases are approved (i-130, i-131, got EAD card) and just waiting on 1485 interview. So im not resident yet. My husband sponsored his parents with his friend as co sponsor. Now his parents appeared in visa interview and everything went well, and visa officer asked for my i-864A with proof of citizenship or residency. My question is do I have to submit I-864A? Im not even a citizen or resident yet. My own case is in progress from last 2 yrs. Should I wait for my green card and then i do I-864A for then?As we do joint taxes and thats why they are asking for my I-864A? I dont want any trouble for my immigration status. Plz advise (my case first got declined as we choose wrong category on i-130) so making sure whats safest way to proceed.
