Hello, My fiance and 2 year old son are approved and have K1 visa in hand. She is thinking of coming for a month without him, leaving him with her mother, so she can adjust. I know that the K2 visa is good for a year but when will she be able to travel back to Colombia to get him and return to the US. Obviously I assume we have to marry before she could travel to Colombia and come back with him but can she travel before getting the green card if only to go and get her son? thank you
