That date is not in your timeline.

What is your visa type? Your timeline seems wrong if this is an spouse visa. You would have a place to show date when you DQed. Is yours a work visa or for parents?

It is for spouse visa. I will take a look at my timeline x

Why did you choose to turn that down?   I don’t think an expedite would be justified, because you made the choice to pass on potential income.

I had to turn it down because I will be porting out of the states for 8 months and wouldn't be able to leave to return to England for my medical/interview therefore delaying the process even further. By the previous batch of interviews released we are very close

  3. Hello

Our DQ date is Feb 17th. Spouse visa

I have recently turned down a contract ( My husband and I work for Carnival cruises) that means I have lost 8 months of US taxable income. My next offer for work is starting August 8th.

We have no idea whats going on with interviews in London at the moment. We thought we would make the June interviews that never happened 😩

Do any of the forum experts know if with my proof of loss of income if this would qualify for expedite or is it not enough? It going to be a huge blow to loose more income

Any advice would be greatly received x

    Hi,

I’ve tried scrolling through but can’t seem to find the answer.
I was DQ’d on February 26th. Anyone know roughly when our batch will be for interviews? My husband and I have been apart for months. He’s also missed a third of our daughters first year of her life. 😢 REALLY praying for it to be soon. Thank you.

The latest DQ date I could find for the May interviews was Jan 15th. We DQ’d Feb 17th so very much hoping to get into the June batch. It unfortunately isn’t very consistent with the amount of people they invite to interviews so is hard to predict. I really hope you get into the next batch too and get your family back together 🥰 xx

  5. Hello

Just wondering if anyone could post their examples of what they received from their doctor in regards to a patient summary. There was some on the other forum but they got deleted as it was going off topic. My doctor clearly hasn't had this kind of request before (especially for US Visa purposes), so would be good to have some examples.

I can't find where on the travel.state.gov London embassy Medical preparation it says we have to have this so thank goodness for these forums!

Any help would be appreciated and anyone interviewing this month, all the best!

    xx

  6. Hello everyone!

Congratulations to everyone who has recently been approved :)

Can I ask where people had their passport photos done? (Especially those who did so during pandemic/lockdown) I had mine done in a photo-me photo booth and chose US visa photos. I also had my husband print out some that I took using an online app and print them at Walgreens and send them to me. They are slightly different in size! So now I’m paranoid about it. We all know how everything must be correct and no room for error. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks 😊

Hi we DQd 15 Jan, there are those who DQd back in October who’s interviews are scheduled for April after being pushed back from March! We aren’t expecting on that basis to be called for interview before June/July so I think May might be a little optimistic 😕.

I think getting the jabs ASAP is in the interest of everyone personally so that’s what we shall be doing.

Absolutely! I want mine ASAP also. I’m thinking as long we have the proof of the first dose there shouldn’t be any issues if our second is the states. Thank for replying!

  8. Hello London embassy applicants! Thought i would start a new discussion as to not go off topic on waiting times on other forums. We DQ'd Feb 17th and are hoping for a May interview. With the current rate of the Vaccine rollout her in the UK I believe i may get called for my first dose before/near my interview time. All being well by the time my second dose would be needed I would hope i would be in the states. So I am wondering is anyone likely to be in the same position as me? Have you spoke to your doctor and got any advice? Are you thinking wait till to you get to the states for both doses or just have one here and one there?

Not an opportunity to debate Covid or the Vaccine please! Purely just interested in anyone deciding the same as myself. :) Much love x

In a fb group for London based CR1 applicants I saw somebody DQed 28thNov received interview date yesterday for a 30/03/21 schedule :)

Could you possibly let me know the Facebook group you’re in? I’m in one but it’s not London specific. ☺️X
