How soon after did yours switch to AP? Mine is still “Ready.”

I'm afraid I don't even know. I hadn't checked. I received an email yesterday afternoon from @usvisa-info.com saying the US embassy had released a document (obviously my passport) and that it had been sent to the courier, and then it appeared this morning.

  2. I can't believe I'm writing this BUT...I've just received my passport!! So interview Monday morning, passport received Wednesday morning. Unbelievable turnaround.

It doesn't include a social security number. Does anyone know if/when you get that?

It also says it expires on 30 June 2021. Is anyone aware what that means should I need to come in and out of the US if you don't have a physical Green Card, which apparently can take up to six months to arrive?

Still in shock that it's here!

  3. Hello,

We were approved yesterday too. It won't come as a surprise that, like others, it was a very smooth and painless process at the Embassy. Interestingly, I wasn't asked for half of the documents that you're told to bring - obviously important to have everything just in case but I needn't have bothered with my beautifully organised and labelled ring binder 😂

Good luck to everyone with their interviews coming up. And huge thank you to everyone contributing their experiences and advice on this thread - it has been beyond helpful.

  4. Did anyone receive an email from the US Embassy with information about their upcoming interview? There's a link that says you need to confirm the date and time of the appointment but I'm not sure if we need to do this as it's asking for lots of information that's already been provided, so not sure if this is a necessary step?

Thanks in advance for any help!

  5. Hi team,

So sorry to hear that some March interviews have been rescheduled.

I have my interview on 8 March, assuming they don't change it. I was just wondering if anyone who has previously had their interviews was required to show any updated evidence of their relationship?

Will keep everyone posted on how it goes next week. Best of luck to everyone else.

Congrats on your interview! If you log back into the USDS here with your case number and invoice ID number to retrieve your application - https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx - then click on the text 'Completed' below the IV Application in the Applicant Information section this is directs you to your previously completed & submitted DS260 form - if you then click through all the previously completed pages by hitting the 'Next' button at the bottom - it's about 30 pages - you finally get to the DS260 confirmation page which you can print, download or email as required for your upcoming interview. Maybe there is a quicker way to get this page - but it worked for me.

    THANK YOU!

  7. Interview date received for 8 March (we DQ'd on 20 October)! SO great to be able to write that down!

Not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything.... but looking at the list of things we need to take to the interview, one is the confirmation page from the Form DS-260 Application. I've had a look but not sure what this is, can anyone shed any light on it? I can find the online form with alllllll the reams of information therein, but unless they just want a print out of the initial landing page where my name and case number are listed with 'complete' in the status box, then I'm at a loss!

Thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to help :)

  8. Finding this thread so useful and encouraging - thanks for all the info and big congrats to those who have been approved!
My husband and I DQ’d mid October, so we have a while to wait but wondering at what point people booked their medicals? It sounds like you get between 2-4 weeks notice for your interview, so does that give you enough time, or does it make more sense to book the medical before you get the interview date?
