If you already received an email stating u can go ahead and schedule an appt then you will have to check each day (multiple tines each day) until appt slots open up. This is how K1 couples schedule their non-immigrant fiance visa interview.... they check the website each day waiting for slots to appear... and the embassy will not give u a heads up as to when the slots will appear.... but when they do, they go fast.

They are up to Mid April 2022. There are CR1/IR1naija Facebook groups in which people discuss spousal visa matters related to Nigeria and discuss when interview letters are sent out. Generally, for the lagos embassy they release interview letters in the last week of each month.

They are up to July 2021. Hopefully before year is over they'll be caught up with all of 2021 DQ dates.

The embassy is currently up to June 2, 2021 for NVC DQ for interviews. If you were DQed in OCT 2021 then your interview should be coming up within a few months.

Not at all which is sad. You can always try to expedite your case or move it to another country but u need a valid reason to do so.

DQ date is the date you were documentarily qualified by NVC, in other words it is the date that NVC accepted all of your documents and sent u an email saying so. Your DQ date is in Oct 2021 and Ghana embassy is currently at Sept 2020/Oct 2020 ...... so basically if they don't speed up their current process (which does not look like they're even trying to decrease their backlog) then u have about another 14 months or more before you receive an email about an interview date. Currently it's taking about 2 yrs after being DQed for Ghana couples to receive their IR1 visa interviews.

For my IR1 case, I only submitted 1 year of tax transcript and supporting W2s. But I also uploaded 3 of my most recent pay stubs. On the I 864 form I did write down what my income was for the 3 previous yrs, but only submitted my most recent tax transcript. I was approved by NVC with no issues or delays.

We will all continue to wait. Right now, the Lagos embassy is prioritizing student, tourist, and K1 visas (probably has something to do with more monetary gain vs. CR1/IR1). Some people have been waiting since mid to late Dec 2020 when they were documentarily qualified by NVC. The wait is extremely tiring and frustrating but yet that's all we can do..... wait. You can attempt to expedite for an interview if u have a valid reason but even then the embassy may still reject your request. There is a petition I saw going around on some fb naija/US marriage based visa groups about the senseless waiting for an interview.... I don't know how fruitful those efforts will truly be though. All we can do is pray that by the summer, they shift their focus to CR1/IR1 visa interviews. 🙏🏽
