  1. Hi everyone, I am in the process of filing N-600 for my son, there is a question (Q14) about his admission to the United States asking about the travel document used and the document number, we admitted as refugees, and while I was checking our I-94, I noticed that they printed the A number in the Passport number field! any explanation for that? and which number should I put in the N-600 form? I am baffled.

Congratulations and you made the right decision to file for the N600, it's expensive but equally good. That part of the question is about you the parent. Since you are citizen now, you are USA nationality.  I filed my son's n600 since Oct 2022 still waiting.

Thank you for your reply, i have another question if you allow me, I read in the instructions that my (the parent) birth certificate is required, however, I know several people who applied for the N-600 for their kids without submitting their birth certificate.

@New_Citizen, according to USCIS’s processing time tool, your case is eligible to have an inquiry submitted. I used the data (field office, submission date) you disclosed here, and this is what I got:

I've done that, and their reply was "Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner."

I also contacted the congressman and they replied to her the following " As a part of a greater eligibility determination, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) conducts background and security checks on applicants and certain petitioners for immigration benefits. These checks are necessary to ensure United States national security and public safety interests. In some cases, the results of these checks require USCIS to perform additional inquiries or consult with other government agencies. When this is necessary, there is often some delay in resolving the checks, and it is difficult to predict when resolution will be completed. Please be assured that this case has not been overlooked. Once all checks are resolved, the application will be interviewed, adjudicated and your constituent will be notified of the decision."

Many have been able to file at 4 years and 9 months using online form. List your foreign address you had between the 3 month gap before entering the US.

Thanks, I have followed your advise and I am currently filing online, I have one question, when I am entering my employment history, I can't find my job title? what should i do?

What's stopping you from filing online? Its quicker and easier.

2 things, 1st, the online form asking for my marriage certificate while in mail submission it is not a requirement since I am not filing based on marriage,

2nd, I haven't complete 5 years of continues residency, I am filing early 4years and 9 months, and the online form would give me a warning when entering less than 5 years residence history.

  6. Hi Everyone, I live in California, I know I have to send the N-400 file to

    For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

    USCIS
    P.O. Box 21251
    Phoenix, AZ 85036

For FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

    USCIS
    Attn: N-400
    1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S
    Suite 100
    Phoenix, AZ 85034

I am planing to pay the fees using the credit card, they mentioned that I have to attach the g-1450 form with my N-400 form,

My question is, do I have to send it to the same address above? they mentioned that I have to send it to Lockbox, is it a different facility?

    Please advise
