@USC4SPOUSE Just curious to know why you asked whether the OP was adjusting from K1. Is it because the folks adjusting from K1 to GC will not be made to go through separate interviews?

@VS29 I had emailed the same email id used by you and the Mumbai Consulate replied back to me. I've been hearing that a few people this week have received the automated response that you got. Not sure what the reason might be. 

We emailed them (UStraveldocs) twice and got our Packet 4 attached as a reply in our case comments.

I have heard people scheduling medicals and interviews without receiving the packet 4 before but not without a fight. The consulate should email you an electronic copy soon enough. If not call the ustraveldocs customer care and tell them your problem. I received Packet 4 only after emailing ustraveldocs (that was before corona virus) and the actual hard copy packet 4 came 2 weeks later. Thank you! I emailed ustraveldocs on Friday March 19 and a case has been created with an assurance of reply in two days. I'll call them and ask for the electronic copy again.

I am rather curious to know whether the packet 4 sent to us individually (not the one uploaded on the consulate website) will contain petition specific information such as applicant name, case number etc or is it just a replica of the packet 4 copy found on the website.

Our K1 petition reached the Mumbai consulate on March 19th and is in Ready status. I emailed the Consulate asking for an electronic copy of Packet 4. My fiancée mentioned that there have been instances where medicals and interviews have been scheduled without receiving Packet 4. Has anyone booked and undergone medicals/interview at Mumbai consulate without receiving packet 4 and if so, what were the steps followed? 

Our K1 petition is in transit to the embassy and should be interview ready soon. Yesterday I got diagnosed with umbilical hernia and the doctor mentioned that a minor surgery is not immediately required but advised for the long run. I am not in any pain and it appears as a minute bump on my body. Now we are in a quandary whether to go ahead with the immigration medical and K1 visa interview, and getting the minor surgery done after the interview or should it be done before the immigration interview. 

Based on my understanding having a hernia should not be affecting the medical examination but curious to know if anyone has been in a situation similar to ours. 

I had stayed in USA for 4 years (2015-2019). Currently I am out of US and wanted to know what is procedure for obtaining the police clearance (FBI summary report?) required when I go to the K1 interview. My fiance is in US and I am in India. Can anyone please help me on the procedure to send my fingerprints to FBI.
