  1. Hard agree how wacky the in-account estimation can always be. What a big miserable moment between a successful interview and an oath. I'd have to give up the plan on changing names, if this would only help a bit to shorten the wait. A portion of Irving cases used to be processed by Oklahoma City and San Antonio. Still happening recently in the post-COVID era?
  2. Amazing news! Does your in-account estimated wait time match the real schedule? Don't be unhappy if I say that I conservatively guess your interview date falls in February. Share with us the actual date! Absolutely wish you will get all done right away!
  3. I am a Feb-end filer and Nov-end bio taker. I am not a regular case yet at least in VisaJourney but I am sure more and more people similar to my timeline will appear with a delayed bio. If Dallas is interviewing November and December 2019 applications now, I will look to be called when the weather warms up again here.
  4. Has anyone seen in Dallas the same day oath ceremony? Has anyone recently been waiting for a scheduled judicial oath ceremony? On the court website, I don’t see any scheduled ceremonies that haven taken place for DFW in December or January.
  5. Glad that there is a thread just about Dallas! Is there only one Field Office for DFW area which is the one in Irving? Is this Dallas office known as extremely slow for years, or just due to COVID? Typically how many N400 interview is done per day in Dallas office? I don’t see much moving or discussions here about Dallas progress and the wait time has been painfully long.
  6. Congratulations on your fast-scheduled interview! Is it a recent trend now for March filers, maybe nationwide or only in certain offices, that shortly after a COVID-caused delayed-biometrics done around October and November, there will be an interview scheduled?
  7. Congratulations! Was your biometrics rescheduled due to COVID? It looks like your background check was done very quickly and your position in the waiting line for interview wasn’t affected by a delayed biometrics.
  8. Good advice, but I wonder, other than the Case Reviewer specifically assigned to your case, who else in USCIS would bother to look whenever you upload a new document ?
  9. Thank you so very much bzbee. I was not as lucky as you to be admitted for an early walk-in at Whitehurst. I did attempt to do it on 1 day before but I was denied at the check-in. My online estimated completion time starts to give me a horribly long wait time right after I finished the biometrics. I hope this estimate is messed up, I wish your estimate will be true for me, and I will get the interview not too long after you are done with it. Does Irving typically offer the same-day oath? Do you plan to change your name? I think about changing mine but I'm extremely terrified by a longer wait time for a judicial oath ceremony.
  10. My N400 NOA date is Feb 28th, 2020, and my biometrics originally scheduled for Mar 18th was cancelled due to COVID closure and my biometrics was finally done Nov 30th. When should I expect the interview to take place? 12 months since the filing, or 12 months since the biometrics? Current N400 processing time of Dallas office is 12.5 - 15.5 months. Are there still March biometrics-takers waiting for the interview?
  11. My N400 NOA date is Feb 28th, 2020, and my biometrics was just recently taken on Nov 30th due to COVID reschedule. It took 9 months to get the biometrics done for me in Dallas office. For a February filer, I have the worst luck. When should I expect the interview to take place? 12 months since the filing, or 12 months since the biometrics? Current N400 processing time of Dallas office is 12.5 - 15.5 months.

How does USCIS recently estimate the waiting time for the interview, since filing date, or since biometrics?
  13. My N400 NOA date is Feb 28th, 2020, and my biometrics was just recently taken on Nov 30th due to COVID reschedule. When should I expect my interview will take place? 12 months since the filing, or 12 months since the biometrics? How does USCIS recently estimate the waiting time for the interview, since filing date, or since biometrics? I went to Dallas North office for the biometrics and I am supposed to go to the Irving office for the interview.
  14. My March biometrics was cancelled due to the closure. Since July 13th reopening, I haven’t got rescheduled. I haven’t seen any movement in Dallas ASC for biometrics. Any folks in the same boat? Any folks have better luck in Dallas? My estimated completion time is June, 2021.
