Are you applying for AOS?

I saw some people have the same problem and just write a letter explaining it.

Visa Journey also has an example letter (please see AOS I-944 credit score explanation ). 

I wrote a letter like that when I applied for AOS.  

You can practice for the interview together 😄

Also reading the USCIS's instruction for AOS will be helpful.

Here is what I did after getting married.

I came into the US on K1 visa in May and got married in Orange county CA in June.

We got our marriage certificate two weeks later. 

I didn't applied for SSN to SSN office because my nearby office were closed and they didn't offer an appointment back then....

I knew that some office allowed people to apply for new SSN by mailing their passport and marriage certificate etc... but I just didn't want to send my passport 😅

Instead I applied for SSN through I-765.

June...Got married 

Late July .... AOS.  Applied for I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131, I-944

August... Got an I-797C letter (saying that USCIS received my application)

Now... Waiting for the next notice

Hopefully once my I-765 get approved I'll get my SSN and I'll be able to go get my drivers license! 🙂  

Now we're preparing for the AOS interview little by little we don't know when it'll be though...😑

Page 8 of I-693 instruction of USCIS said people who had done with medical check before K1 interview didn't have to submit form I- 693 but DS-3025 VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION WORKSHEET.

I got my DS-3025 from the clinic in my home country when I had my medical check and sent the copy of it with my I-485.
