I am trying to renew my passport because it expired last July 2009 and is planning to travel next year. I am wanting to reflect my new married name as the same with my Green card to my new passport. I called Phils embassy today after woek around 4pm but it goes to the answering machine all the time. It sucks!

Hi thanks for the reply! I am trying to renew my passport here in the US. I used to have the MC Annotated copy but I sent it to the USCIS when we applied for AOS now I only had the photcopy. Do you think that would be enough (the photocopy) to send to the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC? Thanks again
-
One of the requirements of Renewal of passport if Filipino Citizen was previously married or/was annulled is Judiciary Decree of Annulment. My question is do I have to photocopy everything including the following :
1. Petition
2. Certification
3. Decree of Declaration of nullity of Marriage
4. Certificate of Finality
5. Judgement
I hope someone can answer me.

We uses MONEYGRAM since I cam here for a year now, never had a problem even if we send more than a thousand $$. Easy to send & easy to pick up too!
-
I have two first name too. So when I aaplied AOS I used one first name, dropped my second first name then my father's family name as my middle name then used my husband's last name.
so its like this as a sample:
Before:
MARIE ANA - 1st names VALENCIA - middle name CASTRO -last name
Now(used in my GC, SSN, renewed passport)
MARIE - ist name CASTRO - middle name HOLMES - last name (family name of husband)

Though I won't say white isn't pretty, I still adore white people though. When they go to the Phils it seems that they shine through and seems that they are really attractive and neat too. Could be brown, dark or white doesn't really matter, just love for who you really are!
-
I love Filipina color too it's just right brown but not black! I just don't understand too that my friends were so worried that they were dark when in fact, it really much appreciated here in the US.

Yes its fine, I did mine hand-written. Just write it legibly.

I myself was an OFW but glad to say that I havea caucasian employers who treated like a friend to them so my duty doesn't evolve around the house most of the time. Weather, Singaporean, Maly, caucasian, or other nationalitites there are really evil everywhere. Some of the maids in Singapore doesn't even want a Filipino employer because they know how they treat their maid, it's like they're in their own country, if you get what I mean!

Has anyone had passport pictures taken in Chicago with the royal blue background? Is there a place near the consulate? How much were they?
You can have the passport photo taken when you have your personal appearance. Or you can go to any photo stores and bring a royal blue background cartolina or whatever they call it here card board or whateverand make it as ur background. I had my photo taken when i had my personal appearance in atlanta.
Hello! Do you mean you had your passport renewed in Atlanta, georgia? How did you do that?

I just read in the other site with a similar post that they had it at CVS and it's also it the consulate where you can have your photo taken with Royal blue background.
here another link as well!

I hope this isnt too forward a subject, but frankly I dont know where else to talk about this at.
Me and my wife got married in January 2008. The day of our marriage, she was going to go "home" which was 45 minutes away, so she could teach at her school the next day. The only reason she didnt do that is because it affected me so much, on our wedding day, that I cried.
We are together now. To this day I have not seen her naked. When we make love, the lights all have to be out. She wont let me touch her sexually unless we make love, and then only on her breasts. It really affects me....... We go round and round about this.
Is it cultural? Am I an idiot to be so affected? It is affecting our relationship.
Am very serious with this topic.
Thanks
Where did you meet your fiancee? Some women from provinces or small town are conservative type. Knowing teacher in rural areas , they are very conservative. They are timid and shy it is not easy for them to be naked , especially when it is their first time to explore sex in bed. She is uncomfortable... just be patience.... educate her until shyness over come.
But it doesn't mean that a girl came from a remote area, she's shy in sex after few times of their encounter with the husband. I guess that's weird! The first time or second time you'll be in bed with your bf or husband I guess it's understandable to be uncomfortable but few times, I guess you can bare it all and be naughty . Anyways, to the Op the thing is ask her and talk to her is the only way you will know why she is like that to you.

Cook him a real good dinner, take a shower, make yourself real good to his eyes

My fiance was married once but now has been divorced for a while, what she wants to know is when she goes to get the cenomar and has the divorce papers will they give her a cenomar? or will she need to do anything else? also does she have to go thru nso for anything? she is wondering on these things.
next question, she has a daughter thats 13 the fathers name is on birth certificate. but in another country will she still have to have him sign off allowing her to take daughter if so what does he have to sign and where can a person get it or can they make up there own paper?
If she gets a Cenomar, it will still appears in the document that she was married once and yes they will still issue the Cenomar paper. Is she and the Ex was married in the Philippines or japan? If they were married in the Phils in my understanding she still have to get annulment in the Phils so that during her interview she has the annulment papers with her.

Yes I enjoyed the photos it shows in your eyes that you were so inlove with each other. Thanks for sharing!!!

NO, you're not an idiot, INTIMATE is normal and very IMPORTANT in marriage. it is one of the thing to express your love to her and to be more close emotionally. without it you are living with your sister or relative.
Yes I agree with lotus. It's really a very serious thing and being intimate to a partner is important to a relationship especially to a husband and wife, I don't want to to be mean but if she doens' want to be touched by you unless your having sex don't you think her feelings towards you isn't that strong?

I guess the OP is just upset because the lady whom her ex-fiance will file a K-1 is the cause why her and the guy broke -up.
