Sad. The advice given earlier was good. Her personal safety is paramount. Immigration status is secondary. Since her, and your, big concern is her immigration status over personal safety, this would appear to be the proper answer:
It doesnt matter what her "hopes and dreams are". There are all sorts of ways to come to the US illegally. This is just a not particularly clever variation of an illegal "marry for money" scheme.
You said it best "once she entered what she thought would be a legal arrangement that would help her obtain citizenship" indicates that the intent in this case was not and never was marriage and family. This puts your question outside of the interest and purpose of the VJ forum.
Ok, let me clarify - it isn't so much that she PAID him to marry her, its that she was told her accounts would be frozen as part of the process of sending her back home. she THOUGHT she could trust him, so she gave him the money for her, but once the process began, he used it to take advantage of her. He forces her to clean and cook for him just to get back her own money for various things like food and clothes. She did NOT just go pay some stranger money to live here, she entered what she thought would be a legal arrangement that would help her obtain citizenship so that she could continue living here and finishing her education.I realize there are some poor choices she made, but I'm quite sure that not every 19 year old girl in her situation would have made the best call first when pressured and scared. This wasn't a stranger, this was a supposed 'friend' who is now taking advantage of a young girl who is scared and feels hopeless as she watches her dreams go down the drain every day.

They are expecting her to receive her K3 from the embassy in her home country, enter on a K3, and then apply for AOS. We got the same language in our I130 approval notice.

My wife was not required to get the vaccinations before her interview. At her medical they did note and record what she has and has not had pursuant to entering the US.
She will complete her missing vaccinations here in the US.

Hi, and welcome to VJ
You are going to want to file that I129F as soon as you get any sign that your case has been assigned a receipt number. We filed ours with the front and back of the cancelled check (your receipt number will be on the back), the I130 package copy, and the USPS delivery notice showing that we had an I130 pending. It took about 2 months for us to get a receipt notice and it's gotten worse since.
Once filed, the waiting begins. It's been taking 5-6 months to approval.
Regards, and good luck to you

Thanks so much and I do (cant stop smiling) WOW
Congratulations to you both, I'm so very pleased for you (see what I mean about the anti-climax statement ) -
Granted, and approved.
There were no questions, requirements, or requests. All the consul said when he handed Nit her approval slip was:
"Your husband should be very happy about this"
She'll be here on the 23rd.
Thanks to all of you for the encouragement and support.
Regards,
David and Nitadyah

Nit's interview is in a couple of hours. 5 minutes at the window determines our lives. That sort of weighs on us.
I hope it goes well for her. We did everything right, and it's going to be a bit of a stressful nite.

No sympathy

I have the same issue this year, and spoke with an IRS specialist.
I have the choice of claiming MFJ, MFS, or HOH (children, not wife) as my wife has not arrived in the states.

You picked a real winner there

No, but writs have been filed in Federal District Court (mandamus) to force action by officials in the Executive branch
-
I actually hopes he pulls it off. Been a long time since a candidate appealed to everyone.
-
It most likely will be
What we included was:
Last year's income tax return (they only wanted 1 year)
Letter from employer with position and salary, original
Recent check stub, just to prove a point, but at document check they kept it
Letter from bank dated 10/07 showing total 1 year deposits, original
and of course the notorized affidavit
No comment on assets, left it all blank
Good luck and best to you

Good god.
I did and do suggest to the OP to cut losses and prepare to defend for possible future demands.
I watch illegal immigration every day. Do you actually think after this CIS has the energy or will to take an action against this person? I suspect they do not.
Suggesting otherwise is nearing drivel.

No sympathy from here. This provision of the VWA was never intended to help illegal immigrants anyway. It was intended to help immigrants who immigrate legally and find themselves in a domestic violence situation, after doing everything properly, then have a means and a process to stay here in the US if they choose to do that.
I hate to hear that anyone is treated this way, but illegal immigrants need to take note: Eventually, one by one, none of the usual bleeding heart liberal causes are going to be applied that give you special status. The days when illegal immigrants enjoy the same protection, benefits, and privaleges of legal immigrants are ENDIND. Go back to your home country, and immigrate legally, or run the risk of being packed up, sent home, and banned from returning. Immigrate illegally and get beat up? Tough. Hopefully this becomes part of the chances you take when you choose to break the rules.
The ONLY amnesty that I would support for illegal immigrants, is a clean slate once they self-deport. I do not have any malice towards illegals who wake up, smell the coffee, go home, and start the legal process. Illegal immigrants who are picked up and sent home should and deserve to be banned from returning to this country.
This may not be popular in this forum, but it reflect the feelings of the majority of the country. Enjoying the benefits of a better life requires that the laws and rules be followed and equally applied to everyone. A society of law has both benefits AND responsibilities. What has made illegal immigration so beneficial is that these people enjoy one with no feeling of responsibility towards the other.

Now we all know, and I've always wondered, why there are a billion Chinese. Very intimidating.

A family member is petitioning your wife or sponsoring your wife?
-
Be thankful that he can at least visit. Most are not allowed to enter the country until their visas are issued.

Curious, and asking both of you
Have you looked into a Writ (Mandamus) from the US district court and if not why?
-
Dial the number, as soon as the message opens hit 1, 5. Then wait.
If you get a message in spanish, hang up and try again. If you get "sorry for the dalay, but you have to wait more than "x" minutes to speak to an operator" then hold and you can speak to someone.
You need your CIS receipt number (WAC, VSC,MSC) with your 9-digit case number. If: they ask you for your fiance's name and date of birth, they have your case. Otherwise, they will tell you to wait.
USCIS closed my I-129F petition!
in K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
Pushbrk:
The choice of which Visa is superior depends on the individual definition of "superior visa". If "superior" means "less expensive", and it is more important to save money on the process and get a green card as quickly as possible, rather than maximize time with your spouse, then the IR1 is "superior". If "superior" means that you can be with your spouse as quickly as possible, then the IR1 might not be the way to go.
I am personally quite happy with our choice of K3. We filed in mid-June, and she will be here in Houston the week after next. We are quite comfortable settling in and waiting for the green card through the AOS process. The goal, at least ours, wasn't to "get a green card". It was to start our lives together.
