  1. Well,

My fiance noticed and I just made sure that, K1 filers from August (like us) have no RFE's so far (based on the time line data).

And this either has to be a real neat fact or is there a total mess waiting for us later?

I really, really hope that the worst is not to happen, because any more waiting regarding to this matter would be so unfair! We're almost in time to feel even more nervous waiting for the NOA2 ...receiving RFE notices just then would suck!

So does anyone has anything to comment about it? Have anyone gotten an actual RFE?

(maybe we're two goobers and didn't find any :) I don't know if I hope someone got one or not haha)

    Regards,

    Vanessa.

ummm....it's still early for you. You could still very well receive an rfe. So could the rest of August filers. June filers and july filers for that matter.

I agree! Until you get your NOA2, you still have all the chances to get an RFE... hopefully no one gets 'em! Good Luck!!!

  2. I am wondering how many other early June filers out there are still waiting for their NOA2. Our NOA1 date is June 5 (CSC) and everyone else after us seems to be getting approvals. We haven't gotten any touches since June.

Any thoughts? Is this normal? I thought they processed them in the order received.

    Thanks VJers,

    Kelah and Ramiro

I think they process on how easy the petitions are and how thorough the petition packet is prepared. I dont know if this is helping now, but I literally made tabs on each of form divisions in my packet and binded it on a 2hole punch binder clip so its easy for them to select and go through my packet. Maybe your packet is just under mine. Hang in there.. and remember to be patient. Good luck!!

Im a June sender (June 22) /July Filer (July 2) according to my NOA1 receipt date, and I just received my NOA2 in the mail today.. WHooohaa!!!

  3. Well I just called CSC and my petition has not been forwarded to NVC yet. I'm not disappointed though. I got a super nice lady and she says it takes a few days after the approval to have it sent on. You know me, I'm the patient one, and definitely happier this week!!!! Alane & Ramzis :luv::luv:

Looks like they are sending petitions about once a week to NVC, so maybe it will be sent next week.

    Good luck Alane!

I hope my packet goes out to NVC with yours so I wont have to wait another week  hehee.. You got approved for NOA2 on Oct 4 and havent received a hardcopy yet?

  4. :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Finally got our NOA2 from CSC!!!!

No touches at all until today when i logged on (at 3rd attempt after forgetting the password!!) and they said we are approved!!

It's been a rough week but this has just made the weekend that much sweeter!

Now for the NVC wait!!

    :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Congratulations!! Same thing happend to me... I had to reset my password due to my nervousness as my fiancee told me the good news...

  5. I still consider myself a June filer, since I sent my petition in June and the petition was received in June in Laguna CA but according to some people, I am a July filer since thats my receipt date on my NOA1. Either way, the day has come..

We got approved for NOA2 on Nov 8, 2007!!!! I checked last night before I went to sleep and the website was not updated, that was already early morning Nov. 9. This morning (823am PST), my fiancee told me by Yahoo Messenger that we were approved.. Does USCIS have workers on grave shift? No touches, no followups, just patience... and just when I thought I was getting a RFE. And I didn't have to spend a grand or how ever much it cost for some lawyer to do the same thing and wait.... Thanks for all the posting here which has helped me get this far....

Good luck to all of you..

  6. Im also approved as of today, Nov 9, 2007 and USCIS updated my statutus and approved my petition. So now what? My fiance is in the Philippines, and I dont know how long the US Consulate in Manila will take before any packets are sent. Anyone with experience in what to do and what I can do before interview time? This has probably been asked for petitioners who have fiance's in the Philippines, but Im still gonna ask, can I request my fiancee to get her NBI clearance and medical exams done before packets are sent? I havent yet filled out I-134 for the Avidavit of Support, when do I turn that in? My salary also decreased since I filled up my G-325A form (quit my 2nd job), but its still higher than the 125% poverty line, do I have to inform UCSIS about the salary change or just file it under I-134? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Good luck to all...

  7. 'm sending in my i-129f and I had a few questions. I have submitted the i-130 . Dh entered ewi and we will have to submit the I-601.

    1st question Addresses

When it asks for finace's address abroad, do you put anything? And what did you put for current address, did you put address here in the US?

    2nd question Fees.

This is what the USCIS has on the web site for fees.

    Filing Fee :

$455. There is no fee for petitions for K-3 status based on an immigrant petition filed by the same U.S. citizen or wife.

My lawyer said that I would fall under area of no fee. I have submitted the I-130. But he was checking on it because its not very common for the USCIS to put a no filing fee on an application. I tried calling the customer service number but just got an automated system. What do you guys think?

    1) You should put your fiance's address as where the person is currently right now. Abroad address means not presently in the USA, since the application is US based. On my application, I put Philippines as thats where my fiance's is as of right now; her permanent residence abroad. Until she is here in the US, regardless of my petition, her address will still be her abroad address, in the Philippines.

    2) UCSIS fees are listed in USCIS.gov website and on the link Immigration Forms. It should be the second button link from the left.

    3) Are you petitioning your fiance and a relatives as well (her mom, dad, sibling)? If you are filiing for two different people, I believe you will have to file for the I-130 fee ($355) as well.. I may be mistaken.

If you can go without a lawyer, I would do so. There are enough people here in this forum to help you out. Im saving $1500 in lawyer fees and found out all my answers to my questions are here in this forum.

    Good luck to you.

  8. Oh Thank God!! They deposited my check exactly 1 month after filing! Now i am waiting for the scan on the back to get my receipt number! I was starting to think it never made it there!

If you got online banking you may be able to see the "franking" of the check which UCSIS posted on the back of your check. The back of the image of the check should show your Receipt Number (I have WaMu and was able to view the receipt). Look for anything with 3 letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC) and then set of numbers that follows. If you cant see the check online you can always call your bank and get the receipt number from the back. I checked on the UCSIS website and viewed status based upon this franked number and it worked like a charm, and was in fact the receipt number. This saved me 1 week of waiting for the hard copy of the Receipt number.

    Good luck.

  9. Well finally my REF arrived today and it's not as bad as I had imagined... CSC is asking for "LAST METTING"

......Submit evidence of meeting the benificery in person within 2 year period....Such evidence may include photographs along with airline ticket stubs (the date on the boarding pass the petitioner submitted is incomplete) and recipts (that include the month, day, and year), copies of passport pages that show admission stamps, military order letter...etc.......and any other evidence that you feel will help the USCIS to determine evidence. The following DOES NOT constitute evidence of meeting: disc, video, emails, letters, phone bills and greeting cards and itinery.....

My original evidence of relationship included a 8-10 pictures of my fiancee & I together (with dates printed on the back) and a few copies of phone bills, that was basically it! Why do they want pictures again? I never send them any boarding passes as they wrote that the date submitted is incomplete? As I mentioned earlier, Cuban filings are rather complex and much of evidences other applicants use is not an option for Cuban petitioners. Most travelers discard items before re-entry to the US. eg. credit card reciepts, tickets, boarding passes....I however, can furnish copies of my frequent flyer statments for the past 2 years that include dates and flights for our meetings but I wonder if this would be satisfactory enough? I called the airline today but copies of ticket stubs or boarding passes are not saved and I purchased the tickets directly from the airline so there is no travel agency to help furnish any kind of receipts. I can furnish credit card receipts indicating the payments to the airline, would this work?....As far as passport stamps, I have none and unfortunetly, that is not an option for me. I greatly appreciate if you could think of any other proofs that I could use to satisfy the requirement and get this case moving and hopefully get it approved? I would greatly appreciate any assitance from you..... Thanks, Ischia

P.S. please don't post replies if your intentions are to critisize me or make stupid comments regarding any previous posts.

Looks like we processed just bout the same time and same place and this is kind of off topic in relation to your question but did your check get cashed in by UCSIS? Im just wondering if Im going to be getting a RFE too.. its not updated in the website so Im hoping my next update is NOA#2
