  1. Hello all. For what it's worth, I was able to transfer my case successfully to the London UK Embassy at the end of August and received an interview letter at the start of Oct for an interview on the 3rd of Nov. It was approved! Hurray! if you have citizenship/residency in another country, I highly recommend transferring. It's really worth it. Best of luck to all.
  2. Hi @SRA_WLS, Yup, you use that online NVC inquiry form. In the message say where you case is currently (Abu Dabi it seems in your case) and where you would like to be transferred to (London) and why (say that there's a big backlog at Abu Dhabi), and why you think you're eligible (you have residence, are a citizen etc). At the bottom, you'll see there's a spot where you can upload files. Upload copies of your documents. Hope that helps!
  3. My interview was Friday morning and I was approved! Yay! I was wondering, for those who've come before me: how long did it take for your status to update on the website? Right now, the portal that I registered my interview on still says "Status: Appointment" and the ceac.gov site says "Ready" when I check my visa status. I was wondering if this this normal? Will it change soon? Thanks!
  4. I can help with this one! I transferred my case from Montreal to the UK successfully. I had proof of citizenship (my UK passport) and I told them I had a residence in the UK (my mom's place) and provided that address. My transfer was approved Aug 30 and I received an interview letter on Oct 4th for a Nov 3rd interview.
  5. Thank you! I transferred my case on August 16th, I heard back that it had been transferred on the 30th of August. My DQ date did not change. However, I have heard that for some people it does. Hope that helps!
  6. Got my IL today! Nov 3rd. For reference: I transferred my case to the London Embassy from Montreal on the 30th of August. However, my original DQ date was Oct 11 2022. Thanks to all for their support. I hope others get some good news today too!
  7. Hello all! Apologies if this has already been asked/answered, but I was wondering how long people have waited to get their passports back after their interview? Thanks!
  8. Congrats!!! @CMingo @starnsy @Luis M May I ask when you were Documentarily Qualified? Thanks!
  9. That's great to hear! Hope the medical went well today
