Does anybody know realistic passport processing timelines?

We applied for expedited passport but the time line reads 4-6 weeks. Just want to know if others have a better experience.

Thank you! That’s very helpful. I have my interview on March 22 and have already booked my passport interview for the next morning. We are hoping to travel for our wedding anniversary in September so your timeline for the passport is very helpful.

You will have enough time to get ready for your anniversary travel.
I received the passport and my naturalization certificate returned today.
Although the interveiw process is very slow, the passport processing is not bad.
My passport was printed and mailed from Tucsan AZ.

  3. Hello everyone,

I want to share my progress with you as this might be your next thing to do after interview.

  4. I submitted on Aug. 12, 2019 and completed biometrics on Sep. 5, 2019.
As of 9/23/2020, Est. Comp. Time: Nov. 2020 and Est. Wait Time: 1 day
As of 9/24/2020, Est. Comp. Time: Nov. 2020 and Est. Wait Time: "We are taking longer than expected to process your case."

As of 11/16/2020, I see the same estimated wait time message. But, the estimated completion time is no longer shown.

Non-combo filer here. After my biometrics my Estimated case completion was November 2020. Estimated wait time is October 2020.
On mid August both dates moved 1 month backwards.

On Saturday, Sep. 12. I checked my status on myuscis.com, my estimated case completion date changes to 30 days. Checked again today, it is now 26 days.

I read from other VJ members post that some will get their interview schedule once the countdown is up but others also gets the dreaded “We are taking longer than expected to process your case. “ status. I am hoping that I won’t get that status and be US citizen by the end of this year, at least something good happen after all these pandemic.

    Non-combo filer here too.
