  1. I wanted to update my status on this topic as it might help other people to have an idea of timeline (maybe?). I just received my travel parole document. It took exactly 12 months to receive it (National Benefit Center). I submitted my I-131 with the I-485, I-130 and the work authorization application Sep 03, 2021. I will finally be able to travel!!
  2. Yes, I meant September 2021! As an update, I finally received my travel parole. So it took exactly 12 months to receive it (National Benefit Center). The timeline for the I-485 still shows 29 months.
  3. Hello! My husband and I sent our GC application in Sept 2022. It was received and we got notified Sep 03 2022. The office we are registered for the I-485 now estimates the wait time to 29 months in Brooklyn while it is 15 months in Manhattan. This difference is insane! Is it possible for people to change their office? Or would it only be possible if we move and change our address? Also, what I don't understand is that the I-130 processing time shows 15 months but isn't it the last piece of the puzzle? Or is I-130 usually approved before I-485?
  4. USCIS timeline for I-131 changed to 10.5 months instead of 9 months but I still got no news. I am at 10 months and 3 weeks. On another subject, the office that is supposed to process my concurrent I-484 in Brooklyn says 29 months. It is the longest wait time in the states. If you can choose your office, DO NOT choose Brooklyn. It was a mistake on my part. Manhattan's processing is 15 months.
  5. I talked to a lawyer who said that right now she sees people getting the travel parole approved after 10-12 months of sending the original I-131 application. I am at 9 months and 3 weeks now. I give updates when it happens.
  6. I submitted my I-485 in concurrence with I-130, I-765 and I-131 September 01. It went pretty fast at first with a receipt after two days and biometrics a few weeks after sending. Then, I received my work permission for I-765 around February 15. Still waiting for the travel parole. It seems that it now takes between 9 and 15 months at the National Benefits Center. The USCIS website mentions that 80% of applicants receive their travel parole in 9 months for the past 6 months. Nothing yet on my side. Anyone filled with the National Benefit Center in the fall with whom I could compare timing? I think they looked at my petition right after they switched from the combo card to the work permit priority.
  7. You can receive expedite if you can prove a big loss of income which is true in the case of your father + humanitarian reasons. Maybe it would be better to ask a lawyer to be certain but I don't think it is impossible.
