Not to worry mine was stuck too on intial review, and we recieved a letter in the mail stating it was approved, i know it leaves you in the dark, but a surprise when its in the mail....i would call the hotline to make sure they still see it, i filed late july and had a bio in september.

How long after you recieved a 10yr green card after the welcome letter?

To all those who sent their 751 to VSC, be patient!! First I sent my package in and recived a NOA with the date of 7-31-09 and bio appointment in 9/4. I couldnt check my status on line, and when i entered my case # on the bio form, it was marked august 3 not 7/31. I periodically checked time from time and it was still in review state...this past saturday i checked online still was in the same state...went to my mailbox and recieved the congratulations letter. still waiting for the card to arrive, the decision date was on 11/7. 3months was not bad time frame, but dont take the online status too seriously. I checked it today and its still stuck on review state. Good luck to all.

Are you going to Mexico or Canada? If you are going to Canada you will be fine with the expired green card and the extension letter to get back into the US. Be sure to bring your passport as well, though, as it is always a good idea to carry your passport when you are in a foreign country. It will be up to the border guard to decide if he lets you pass without a secondary inspection or not.

Going on our first trip outside the US with the extension and expired GC, we are going by car, do we just show them the extension letter? do they send you inside for further processing?

After a long wait we finally got approved for a GC...but was interesting.....WE got approved the same time as our 129f visa....meaning after our interview one year ago and recieved a visa on the 27-28th and got our GC the same date......anybody else

After the production card notice and welcome letter is there another letter saying our i485 is approved?

Hi all my wife recieved her GC and we want to remove the DHS condition from her SS card,,,is there a way to do that on-line?

Hi all....recieved Card production ordered on the 28th of Sept!!!! Today recieved the welcome letter (Sept 30)..how long after the welcome letter did people recieve their green card??

Hi all I recieved the card production ordered in the mail today AOS done!!!! but im travelling next week to canada, I do have my AP etc....I need to go...what should i do if the GC did not arrive before i left?

Wasnt I suppose to get a welcome letter? or another letter as well?

Is it easier to renew it online? they wanted the orginal EAD approval..(sorry this is my first time doing it online) and how much would it be

Hello all, My wife now come in on a 129f, and we have been waiting for our AOS to get done we are pending....She does have a EAD card which i filed with her AOS last year....im filing out her papers now and i have a couple questions..when it asks

1. date of last entry into the us (does that mean after we came back from canada recently or do i put the date she came in on her visa?

2 manner of last entry? before i had k1 what do i put now?

3. part 16 elgiblity categories what will it be now??

does anyone have a renwal template? also how much will it cost me?

Touches are normal as are no touches at all, there is no reason to be going crazy and no reason to call USCIS at this point in time.

even though we have been waiting since nov of last year???

Sorry...yes she came in on a k1 visa last november....our case AOS got transferred to the CSC last Nov as well, it was touched 1/20 and stopped until july of this year we recieved an rfe in august...we have her AP and EAD since this past january

they recieved our medical rfe at the CSC one the 13th of this month and since we had a touch on the 13th 14th and seventh...and since nothing,......should i be going crazy? should I call????helpppp

Still waiting on the green card...it was touched the 13th 14th and the 17th and then it stopped......................i hope its not going to sit for months now
