Hi everyone hope everyone is safe and great.

I have applied for my wife CR1’s and it got approved by the us embassy in athens. My question is since there are many travel restrictions placing from europe to Usa, can we travel from athens to usa? I am us citizen and my wife got a cr1 visa. I found a ticket from athens to amsterdam and from amsterdam to houston texas.

Are there anyone waiting for their medical results to be sent to the embassy? We had our medical exam on 26th of august, and had our interview for CR1 visa on september 1st but we are still waiting for the medifirst clinic to send our medical exam results to the embassy.

I called them they said that there is a new way of submitting results which they dont have the software for that. So they are waiting for  embassy to set up that software to the clinic.

The medical results are submitted to the embassy electronically by the doctor they don’t so hard copy anymore. Don’t worry about it.

My wife had the same situation on september 1st. They asked for the 2019 tax return transcript and told her to email it. They kept her passport as well. We are still waiting probably will be update soon. We were in Athens/Greece.

In Turkey you need to have your medical exam done before the interview date. It is a place in Ankara you go and get it done. It does not take too long, they give appointments almost 3-4 weeks before the interview date. There is nothing to worry about just have all your documents ready and it’ll be fine.
