Just a heads up to new filers, make sure you print off and fill in the I-130 manually and provide a wet signature even though you certify a digital signature in the application. We had an RFE saying they never received our I-130 even though it was done online. After the runaround, they said it was not signed and they needed a wet signature. Would not hurt to fill it out, sign it, and upload on top of completing it online. It takes a few extra minutes, but saves a couple of months if you end up in our same situation.
Thanks for the heads up, but just came across this, so hopefully no delay. I can’t seem to paste the website link, but looks like they are more flexible.

Cases from Virginia go to Texas.
You know if that’s the case for all immigration forms? Or just this one?

Do I have to print the I-130 and fill it out again? and again sign it? or is the signature enough? Oh man, I can't stand to look at it and fill it again..Thanks though!
* I already know that I am going to get an RFE due to another error on our document.
What’s the other error? I was able to download the document when I filed it. It’s already filled out.

Just checked, I got Nebraska 👍
I’m realizing I got Texas...
Does appear to be random how they assigned.

We are getting ready to file! So excited! I’m wondering what’s the timeframe for approval/interview these days?
I think it depends on what center. On the Visa Journey homepage, you can look at timelines for different users to get an idea. I was looking at the Texas Center and seems like time varies anywhere from 3 to 13 months.

Yes, I'm not sure if the online NOA1 will say, but you will also receive a paper NOA1 in the mail that should definitely tell you which center it's at
Perfect! Thanks so much!

It is randomly distributed between the centers (Texas, Nebraska, and Potomac) the same as a paper petition
Oh ok. And I take it the NOA will say which center?

Yay!!! I did it. Got receipt for August 6. They took the money from debit card. No noa 1 yet. We did it.
All the best 😁
If filed online, what center does it go to? I wanted to look up timelines on the various centers, but don’t know what center to refer to.

I am self-preparing a I-601A for my husband. He’s the one needing the waiver. He is Spanish speaking. Has anyone else done this for their spouse? Wondering if I list myself as the preparer and interpeter even though I am the qualifying relative?

Omg! Am excited. I think/hope just finished uploading the documents on USCIS. Just the thought of finishing the application makes me happy because I have been working on it for so long. Just praying..I will be done with it by Friday and send it off...TBH I cannot look at it anymore...
All the best!
It's so nice to be able to file online!! I was able to scan in everything and then upload it all in the correct section.
Just submitted!!! 😅
And now the wait begins.....
You can do it!!

Hi, I am relatively new too I am not an expert. I stared following a tread from Tyssa. To answer your question I know some get the interview here to adjust their status and others like myself will have their interview abroad.
good luck on your journey.
Thanks! For sure the interview will be abroad. I know to file the I-130 and in the meantime, I am going to prepare the I601A packet and pay the fees that are requested by NVC, just wondering if any other USCIS Form needs to be filed.

Hi there!
I am new to all of this. I am submitting I-130 on Monday. What will by my next step? I know I am going to have to file an I-601A on grounds of unlawful presence here in the US. I am wonder if there is another form that I have to file before that form? I would like to get working on the next form, so I have it ready by the time the I-130 is approved.
Thanks in advance!!

Oh I see. Hopefully, won’t delay the process. I was seeing documents can still be uploaded. Wondering if they will look at those. And if within a couple of months, you will probably have time to upload the correction before they get to processing your petition.
