my visa interview dated 25th Jan 2022 , i was refused for AP ( IR1 ) i have been in AP since my interview. my medical was expired and now after 9 months embassy send me below email upon inquiring regarding visa.

    Dear applicant,

We have recently reviewed your immigrant visa case.  To move ahead and process this case, our office would like you to submit the following documents.

Updated medical examination reports from an Embassy-approved physician (These typically expire after 6 months.  For more information, see

anyone experienced the same & what was the outcome ?

your help will be much appreciated. Thanks

If they are not close to making a decision on your case, they will not request a new medical.  AP for Pakistan males can last a long time.  Did you get a DS-5535?

    No i didnt get DS-5535

The new medical will expire as well if they don't make a decision in the next 6 months, so there is no point in asking for the medical at this point unless they plan to decide the outcome. When the the time comes up, they will request the new medical and sometimes call for another interview as well.

This is crazy… no dates updates or case moving to any directions.

  3. Hi im starting this thread for Pakistani experts with similar situation in past and how they sorted it out. im in IR-1 visa process and there is a mistake i just noticed in my urdu nikah namma regarding my previous marriage. On Nadra marrigae certificate it is mentioned that i was previously (divorced) and not on urdu nikah namma and i got them attested from foreign affairs already.

give your best suggestion in this scenario , what should i do ? Wait till the visa interview and ask the VO what to do ? Or should i get it corrected.

    thank you

USCIS basically processed the petition- you submitted the required minimum evidence/documents and they moved it on to NVC. You still can get denied/refused at the NVC or embassy stage. Additionally didn't you state your case is no longer pending in Dubai and you have been cleared?

I was cleared by interpol ... since it was UAE authorities who initiated the red notice against me for 85 thousand dhirams dispute. Thanks

  5. Hi guys...

i will make long story short .... my previous K1 visa was denied due to Crime involving moral turpitude. A case filled against me in Dubai by my employer Regarding financial dispute & Somehow i didn't mention it in my application cos i was not aware of it Since i left my job for good in 2013.

i got arrested by interpol After 5 years when i landed in Turkey in 2018. for what ??? For 85 thousand Dhirams the dispute i had with my employer , i  Spent 40 days in prison and was released for unknown reasons and i got deported back to Pakistan. To add that i did travelled during those five years and no one stopped me except Turkey.

And before someone judge me please know im here for advice not criticism... no offense to anyone if you wont give one. It is a very complicated situation what i went through.

since my current wife filled the fiance petition she somehow missed few things in petition. Which im sure will cause us problem in spouse visa.

now all these things were missed cos we didn't hire attorney To represent us. My K1 visa was denied at US embassy . which is cos of the same case i got arrested by interpol.

i got married to my fiance in 2018 she is US citizen we are from same background , we filled Spouse visa petition

in December 2019 & got approved on 23rd july 2020. After 3 days it was transferred to NVC. Got email from NVC for further proceedings.

i got my name cleared out of interpol after my arrest in 2018 .. i got certificate from interpol saying im No longer wanted by interpol.

now my question is why USCIS approved my spouse visa petition knowing my K1 was denied Due to A pending case in Dubai.

PS: we do have attorneys help now.

thank you in advance for any sincere advice.
