I am pretty sure you have to do DS-160 first, pay fee and schedule interview on ustraveldocs. Then she has to go get "Ly Lich Tu Phap" from local "So Tu Phap", and medical report. You also need to send her I-129F approval, I-134 with current tax transcripts, evidences...
Okay, i will do the ds160 first. I just hear people say do it later, so i get confused. My case still at NVC, so hopefully they send it to saigon soon.

thank you em.
Do you have the guidelines of the steps that comes in the welcome letter? Most I have seen are outdated.

HCM consulate visa issuance back to normal, do it now. She can fly out in by the end of the year.
Omg, So the embassy is progressing the k1? Should I wait for the letter?
I am still waiting for the letter and I also have to change/fix her address but was waiting for the embassy in VN to open.

Sure - but it depends on how the country your fiance is in. If things are opening up then you can consider doing it.
She is from vietnam, which is not open. Is it best to wait til its open?

My status on Ceac change and it say to do DS-160.
I have not receive the welcome letter but i have heard it is not needed. ( my status changed recently without it unless welcome letter already sent)
Should I start on the DS-160 for my fiance?

Email
I have never received an email from them and I heard many have not, therefore I am worry my fiancee will never get the packet 3.
Is it possible that I can contact Vietnam US embassy and let them know when I receive my welcome letter?

Non-issue.
I have another question, how would package 3 be sent with the wrong address?
@Ban Hammer sorry for the post earlier.

Non-issue.
Wow i hope so, It is one letter wrong but people in vietnam knows its On vs In and the district is the most important
I hope you are correct sir!

So my Fiance lives in vietnam with a address.
## tran van on st, cam le district but i turn in the paperwork as ## tran van in st, cam le district
I put In instead of On. Is this mistake critical or would they assume since i put the district? vietnam address is --removed--- style
Also, if it reach the embassy, would they know the address by looking it up or cancel?
What should I do? I am waiting or my Case # and Invoice.

No, I'm US citizen spouse, my spouse come from VN and we finished CR1 visa in 2017. We're currently in the process if ROC( I-751).
I think for K1, welcome letter not really a big deal since NVC do nothing rather than assigned case number. The PK#3 from Embassy is the letter you need to keep an eye on it.
So we are suck until vietnam opens up.

Yes, that right. You can be creative and call NVC to get your HCM*** case number, so you can track it when NVC send the case to HCM. Currently, US Embassy in HCM only conduct interview for IR/CR visa, so your only option is wait. Don't worry about the validation date on the NOA2, CO can extend it.
Thank you so much anh.
Are you living in vietnam?
NVC dont even pick up anymore.

Don't wait. You can call NVC and ask them about the status. Also, look at your name "huynh", I'm assumed your fiance is Vietnamese?
Yeah, I'm vietnamese.
I read that many people cases are stuck at NVC. Therefore, no welcome letter is sent yet until other countries open up.

Hi guys,
I have been waiting for over 2 month and I have not receive my welcome letter from the NVC yet.
My due date is next month and I do not know what to do.
Anyone have any suggestion or advice?
Does anyone know anything about the welcome letter delay?
