Hi ikyang.... I've been checking the March thread everyday to see if there was any updates to your timeline as my office is also Memphis. I'm glad they are not way behind - I have heard they are slow....
Here's a link to form 4506-T, Request for transcript of taxreturn. There's also a number on there that you can call to request the form.....

im curious, if one filed for US citizenship based on a 3 yr marriage to a USC, after the oath taking and US citizenship application successful, is their a minimum number of years requirement to be married to the USC?

The same length of time that it takes to petition for a spousal CR-1 or IR-1 visa. Review the timelines for CR-1/IR-1 visas and filter for PI.

wait for your divorce decree and then file for removal of condition. abuse is very hard to prove.

I am just speculating based on common scenerio I have seen multiple times (at least among indian marriages).
how dare you speak from direct experience? how dare you report what you know from observation? that kind of behaviour will get you banned around here if people get offended by your retelling of the truth...
Stop your shots justashooter, you shoot good but not on target.
How do you want people to speak? Its better to speak from direct experience than indirect. And report what we know from observation than a dream.
And its not offending. Its the truth. Every country has some sort of profile where something good comes out of it. The Indians have arranged marriages, the Filipinos have mail order brides. And most of these marriages turn out wonderful, a few turn bad. That's with any group . Someone earlier said Chinese are associated with porn stars and prostitutes. That is just a few again. Most of the Chinese I have known are engineers and scientists. They have great spouses and wonderful family lives.
Just a few bad examples in a group doesn't make it bad.
"Filipinos have mail order brides?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe, maybe not...but either way, it's a good feeling that american men doesn't care to spend dollarsssss just to get a very good wife. hhhmmm i guess they can't find one in their neighborhood and have to travel at the other half of the world to find their happiness...

i am now on the process for my citizenship, and as soon as it is done i will apply to petition my mother.....my BIG problem is...on my birth certificate her name is misspelled....the last letter of her name SHOULD BE E, but is shows A....just a typo error...when i submit my I-130, do i need to submit other proofs? all her docs like her marriage cert, her birth cert, her ID, my baptismal cert, all these docs has the correct spelling of her name....pls advise me what to do! thanks in advance.
Send in an affidavit that shows this & that person are the same and belong to one person, your mom.
thanks mooninlove...im from PI too...

my field office is Memphis TN..please update that for me..dunno how to do it..thanks again.
-
please somebody update my status...ive got my NOA yesterday and its dated 3/13..thanks

ahhh, those filipino girls are quite known for these types of scams. in an effort not to help her out, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR I-129F! Let it sit there, if you dont send the affidavit of support, she will never be able to come here. Likely she's b.s.ing the 50yr old guy into the same thing as you... a free ride to the US. As long as an open I-129F exists, she won't get approved at interview. What she will hear, is a can of whoop a$$ from the consulate about having 2 open petitions, and her claims of "love" in both.
She screwed you, now time to screw her over as well.
*coughs* excuse me, not all!
if one did a horrible thing that does NOT mean they are all the same, ha!
Did I say all? No. But you can sure bet on the number of these fraudster chicks being quite high, as the Phillipines are a high fraud country.
are you bitter? phillipines is a very beautiful country! save money and try to see the place. you will enjoy dude!

please give me the site or link on the step by step procedures on how to get my mom here to US. thanks

just recently sent my application, based on a 3 year marriage too. to prove that we are still married and live together i send:
1. joint bank accounts
2. lease info, just a letter from our lienholder, notarized, we dont have a formal lease agreements, with copies of the checks that we paid him monthly to verify that the person who wrote the letter is our real landlord.
3. 1 electric bill- both our names on it.
4. title of our car-both names
5. insurance- both names
6. 3 year tax returns- married filling jointly.
no kids together! and i hope my docs are sufficient enough....i already submitted a whole bunch on my I-751.
