  1. talked to a very nice gentlemen named Sydney@NVC 30minutes before closing to ask if they had scheduled an interview appointment for my parents and he stated that they will "officially" start scheduling appointments next week and try to call then and he also stated that i will get a date for sure by April 19th...thank god he didn't go through the "appointments are scheduled the 2nd week of each month blah blah blah #######"...at least he was being honest unless he was just happy to be going home soon...hehehe! :star:

  10. Called NVC on 02/26/10 to see if they had assigned case numbers but was only able to get it through the AVR since the recording said they had a power outage so I was not able to register email addresses. Called NVC again on 03/02/10 after getting back from vacation and got a rude lady who was unwilling to register email addresses...she kept on insisting to send a request through email to register...grrr! almost 30mins waiting just to speak to someone and still unsuccessful to register. Called NVC once again on 03/05/10 and got this really nice lady who was more than happy to register all the possible email addresses available. Quickly sent request for agent of choice via email for both parents that same day. Today 03/06/10 received confirmation of DS-3032 via email:

    Good Day:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa

Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on

the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the

    instruction packet will be sent.

    Regards

Hopefully things will move smoothly now...whew!
