Combo Interview - I-751 & N400 Greetings, I had my combo interview on the 13th. It went well, passed the tests and received a form that says “Decision cannot be made at this time”. I first was asked to do the civic test then the english test. She followed up with the questions for the N400 and my travel history. I was missing some recent travels so we updated them together. Afterwards, she brought my wife, son and me into the office. She asked her my name, DOB and how we met. She also gave me daughter and American flag and at the point I swear I was approved on the spot. She asked for my recent tax docs which I gave her. We filed jointly and owe no money. She tried to scan the documents but it seems as if her printer wasn’t working so she asked me if she could keep the documents to which I said yes. She said she couldn’t make a decision at this time but I will receive a decision in the mail once she completes review of the document. Is this normal and whats my timeline looking like? Field office Newark, NJ.

On April 8 I was notified via mail that I had interviewed scheduled for N400 and I-751 for May 13th. Today, April 23rd the I-751 went from interview scheduled to case being reviewed however the N400 interview still says scheduled. What does that mean?

What folder is best for mailing your documents in? Also what type of envelope/packaging do you put this folder in when mailing it in?
