Hi All, 

I'm not sure if I've missed it somewhere, but am I right in thinking that for a family based (Spouse) adjustment of status the beneficiary immigrant does not have to provide any evidence of employment or previous pay stubs?

Given the pages and pages of financial evidence required in the I-944 I would have expected them to have asked for pay stubs or evidence of current employment, but I couldn't see it required anywhere in the instructions like they do for the sponsor in the the I-864

For Part 3, Q10 on the i-944 where it asks about liabilities and debt, what should be included for credit card debt? Does that include all credit card balances, or is it just outstanding payments? I use a number of credit cards, but have always paid them off in full every month, so trying to understand if I need to include current credit card balances in that section and provide credit card statements for the past 6 months? Or if that section is just for outstanding debt from unpaid credit cards.

Hi Everyone, 

In form i-765 Question 14 it asks: “do you want the SSA to issue you a Social Security card?”

1) I currently have a SSN as I'm in the US on a work visa, so do I need a new one issued for my temporary work authorization whilst I wait for my adjustment of status?

2) Unfortunately due to Covid-19 the company that currently sponsors me is closing towards the end of this year? Once they close in December my current work visa will be void, so would that mean my current SSN would be void too? In which case does that change what I should put in my i-765 with regards to them issuing me a social security card
