  1. Hello everyone, I got approved my green card in March yay, apart from the fact my DOB is incorrect. Applied for I90 to replace GC. Got I551 stamp in passport. Travelling to Europe. What documents should I bring with me in order to ensure success re-entry?
  2. Okay Thank you so much. I wasn't interviewed so I guess I'll leave it blank? Am I correct in thinking Part 3 doesn't apply to me as I entered on a non-immigrant visa(k1) ?
  3. So would 1. be Ann Arbor (that's where im living)? and 2. would be Detroit (closest field office)?
  4. I have one more (set) of questions. I am filling out the I-90 form, and I am stuck on Part 3. 1. Location where you applied for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status. Is this where I went for interview for K1 visa? 2. Location where your immigrant visa was issued or USCIS office where you were granted adjustment of status I didnt do an interview for GC, what do I put down? 3a. Destination in the United States at the time of admission? Confused on this also 3b. Port-of-entry where admitted to the United states? Is my POE dublin due to preclearance?
  5. Did you have the year of birth correct on the initial I485 form?
  6. I will apply for a replacement card later today and once I receive my notice I will apply for stamp. Appreciate everyones input and help.
  7. I am traveling to Spain for a family wedding. Flights and accommodation booked. How do you think I'd be able to get them to pay for it? As I believe she sent it to me for final review?
  8. Yes the main thing that I'm concerned about right now is my trip abroad in July. I submitted the paperwork to lawyer, she reviewed, and sent to me to review again. My dyslexia and dob being mm/dd/yy has cost me dearly. My GC I got is for two years
  9. My lawyer informed me that I can apply for stamp without having I-90?
  10. God what a silly expensive mistake, esp having done everything up to now right, it's incredibly frustrating. I guess I start to compile all the paperwork for the I-90, would I need to send in my original birth cert or is a photocopy sufficient?
  11. If I get the stamp, would I need to get a replacement card?
  12. Should be 12/26/94, printed as 12/29/94. There was a typo on the I-485 form.
  13. Hello everyone, I received my Green card today, yay!!! Unfortunately my dob is incorrect on it. Is it possible to argue that because USCIS had various copies of my DOB - birth cert, passport, I-765 and I-131, that I don't have to pay the I-90 fee? I do have to travel internationally in July and plan to ring for a I-551 stamp.
  14. Received my card today 🎉 Unfortunately my DOB is incorrect 😭
  15. Congratulations 🎉 hopefully they'll be in our hands soon.
  16. No I don't think so, my status is still the same (approved) should it change to produced when they are processing it?
  17. I will get copy of marriage certificate from courthouse. Will this be okay to leave and reenter without any problems?
  18. My maiden name is on my passport and my green card will have my married name. If I bring marriage license will this be okay?
  19. Congratulations!!🎉 Mine got approved this week also. Must be starting to approve march filers yay!
  20. If the dob is correct, will I have problems returning to the US if the surname on my passport and green card are different?
  21. I truly hope this is not the case. Omg devastating. Is there anything I can do about it now? The dob is only wrong on the i485 form all the other forms have the correct dob.
  22. I will be checking my post box everyday. My DOB is wrong in the system. Will I have to wait for them to send it with the wrong DOB first before I can ask them to fix it?
  23. I'm so happy right now. Waiting over a year for all EAD/AP and AOS. No I didn't.
