  1. It's DONE I just picked up my passport/visa ten minutes ago and paid the Immigrant Fee. My prayer was that I could be reunited with my wife and kids in Michigan for Father's Day. And guess what, I'll land in Detroit at 12.30pm this Sunday: FATHER'S DAY. Best father's Day EVER 💗
  2. Well. The Mater messed my medical up a bit. It was that bad the head of their department called me last Friday to apologies. (After a stern complaint on my part I might add). Anyways... My status was Refused on Monday 14th at 8am AP on Monday 14th at 9am Issued on Monday 14th at 11am Received the email just today with tracking number Wednesday 16th at 12pm
  3. Update. Lol Got the email with my tracking number today
  4. Visa Tracking Number. For those who have received their visa. Just wondering how you got a hold of the tracking number for the courier?
  5. My next question would be... How did you know it was at the collection point if you hadn't heard from DPD? I'd love to get it sooner. I've asked for it to be sent to sligo (that's where I live). If I call them, would I be able to go to Dublin and get it sooner? My visa status is "ISSUED" as of this morning... Really hoping I can get my visa so I can keep my flight to Michigan which is booked for 22nd June or fly earlier even.
  6. Wow. I'm surprised. I thought the courier emails us?
  7. Just wondering how much notice you were given from the courier to pick up the passport? I've my flights booked but more than likely will have to move them. So just planning accordingly.
  8. Hey. He asked me 4 questions in total.. How did I meet my wife? Where did we love when we got married? Why are we moving to the US? What employment I'm looking into? Don't sweat. Main thing is have paperwork in order. The interview is the easy bit.
  9. There were 3 of us in there. I was IR1 spousal.
  10. VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED. Went into the embassy for my interview at 1.30 left at 1.52. Wow, can't believe it went by so fast. Was asked 4 questions and that was that.. Nothing like hearing those words, "It's my pleasure to welcome you to the United States of America."
  11. interview tomorrow. The evening before the big day. Just a couple last minute housekeeping Q's. How have you all presented your documents when handing them in at the interview? Have you put them in a strict order? Labeled them?
