sChad and I met on Valentines Day in 1997, we thought we were soul mates way back then in our early 20's and dated long distance for 6 months ending with a very sad, heart breaking break up (based on lies that we believed back then) and we never spoke again for 20+ years UNTIL I found him on facebook and reached out to him. We reconnected that same month in Bellingham,WA for coffee and have been together ever since. We spent the last three years making the 2.5 hour drive across the Washington/BC, Canada border on rotating weekends and blended our families. On Feb 16th of 2020 we became engaged with our kids taking a big part in it. We filed for our fiance visa in March 2020 right before Covid19 hit and changed everything. We were seperated for the first 4 months due to the closed borders and I finally was able to fly to Washington for 3.5 weeks and returned to a 14 day Quarantine when I returned to Canada. And now we just wait...and wait....
