Your petitioner can prepare the letter below, notarized it and send you the original to mail to the embassy. For record purpose you should make a copy of it before you send it to the embassy.

    (Date)

From: (Your name, address, phone, SS number)

To: (Name and address of consulate)

RE: (name and vital data of your fiancé, including I-797 approval notice number, date of birth, address, phone number)

Dear Honorable American Consulate of (name of consulate, such as Mumbai):

It is my understanding that pursuant to 9FAM 41.81 N3.1 (Period of validity), the consulate can extend the approval notice for another 4 months, if my fiancé and I remain legally free to marry and continue to plan to marry after my fiancé enters the United States.

    Therefore, please be aware:

    • I and my fiancé continue to be legally single and free to marry.
    • I and my fiancé love each other and plan to marry after his/her entrance in to the United States.
    • If my I-797 approval notice has expired by the time of my fiancé’s interview,

I sincerely request that you extend the approval notice (copy attached) so that my fiancé, (name of fiancé) may receive the K-1 visa.

    Sincerely,

    (Notarized Signature)

Thank you very much for helping me !

You can wait till the embassy opens as they are making contingency plans to include this item as many are in the same situation as you are. Good luck and stay engaged.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

    Thanks

  3. Hello everybody and thanks already for the answer.

So i was asking a question about  how i could extend my I-129 F which will be expire the 06/10/2020 ?

Infact, since the 31 March 2020 i received the letter about NVC to tell me that my case was sending to my ambassy ( PARIS) and it's my ambassy will contact for the interview.

But since that i never received a letter for my k1 visa interview and i don't think i would receive that soon because of the covid 19.

I hope so my english it's not very because i'm french :)
