This whole dollar thing has me worried. The dollar is down to 43.1 pesos to the dollar now. That is about a 10% drop a year over the past three years. I might have to downsize our vacation home plans in Cagayan

I was thinking the same thing i need the doller strong and the paso weak.

I'm missing my honey so much!!! I haven't seen her since May 3rd 2007. God, this is the most trying times. Remembering the times together we shared, and planning for the future. Crying on the phone. How accurate are the timelines the dates seem to be jumping all over the place,i know that can only go from whats put in but someone could put some wrong date and that will make big changes in it?

Lou, I think you do a great job, and I would like you to do some digging on the current state of affairs at the US Citizenship and Immigration Service with respect to K1 and K3 visas. Currently it appears that the US goverment is putting foriegn nationals and thier work related visas ahead of US citizens who are wanting to bring thier fiancee/spouse to the US to share the American dream. If, in fact, this is the case it is deplorable behaviour by our government. Currently the Vermont Service Center does not appear to be working on K1 and K3 visas despite a 200%+ price hike in order to better streamline the process. Myself and several others from all over the US and in different phases of the process are available to talk with you to provide background for any research you might need to do.

Thanks for the great reporting Lou, I hope that by having you look into the deplorable behaviour by our government I can effect some measure of change, "light a fire under the USCIS" if you will to help others who come after me.

LOL i send a e-mail to Lou Dobbs everyday and i have not even been waiting long but I'm hoping with a preemptive strike will help and what you all are doing is grate.

OK on the same subject i hoping she will have her visa by June or July(Eleary would be nice but I'm being realistic) what i wanted to do was buy 2 round trip tickets here and the fly the first leg by myself and she only use the return part can i do that i seem cheaper to buy round trip and i want to fly back with her.

I will live in San Antonio Texas i have a Good job here,but we will be back in the Philippians about once a year maybe retire there.

I am not sure it would be a J-1 visa. I don't think so. First I thought a B-1 Personal Employee, but I don't think you will be successful that route. So then I looked at H-2B temporary or seasonal nonagricultural workers.

After looking at all of these, I think your best course of action would be to speak to an immigration attorney to at least get you started in the right direction. Good luck. BTW, I would be interested in what the attorney tells you.

Yes i have been looking at all those But in the end it look like we just need to try a visitor visa or see how we can apply for a green card or just start the U.S citizenship papers now and Wait 12 years lol

Ya i see and the citizenship take 10 - 12 years at the current time no wounder we have 12 million illegals.
