I applied for my parents and filed I-130 Petition in Oct 2019, For proof of their marriage I provided Nadra Marriage Certificate , 2 witness affidavit who attended the wedding and Civil Magistrate affidavit for Nikkah nama unavailability with my parents petitions. Also other additional documents as Family Tree was also provided. After 8 month my mother petition has been approved while for my father they said to get a letter from Nikah Registrar stating that they could not find the record of Nikkah nama. It has been 40 years since my parents are married and getting any document so old is not possible. Anyone who went through the same issue , who could guide me how to deal with it.
sorry i don't know the answer, but when did you received the NOA 1 and 2 and your approval date? i am in the same boat but stuck on uscis stage!

No issue - as long as you can still support the I-864s.
1 minute ago, Paul & Mary said:Ban applies to Department of State issuing Visas. Not to the USCIS processing petitions.
Just now, geowrian said:Yes.
Just now, SusieQQQ said:They’ve been banned for the past two months and people have reported receiving approval notices for the petitions during that time so, yes. They just won’t be scheduled for interview until the ban is lifted. No point leaving tens of thousands of petitions to deal with all at once later?
Well to be honest this gives me personally some hopes, i filled for my parents and stuck on "under review" (7 months ago ), this weeks was very stressful, first the process time Jumped from 7 months to 32 moths which i hope (an error)now this ban

Yes, IR-5 visas are banned through at least the end of this year.
Both the ban and the divorce won't impact the petitions.
if IR-5 is banned you think uscis will be still working on cases?

Hello everyone, I have a question. So I am a US citizen and I am sponsoring my parents to the States. If I get divorce with my wife now will it effect the petitions? Thanks and hope everyone have a good day!
i don't want to discourage you, but looks like the new ban will effect/delay your petition

Just send it. You will not hurt anyone’s feeling. It takes about 3 days for the system to assign it the appropriate entity. I did the same with the NVC after two days of not receiving the Invoice email; it seems to work.
well i did that hopefully as you said i wont hurt any one feelings.
lets see thank you for your time

I understand. The second option “did not receive notice by mail”. When it asks you which notice you are missing, select “Approval”
understood, thank you.
should I wait or just send it right away? and disregard this morning email.

The email you received this morning said to contact Lockbox for RECEIPT NOTICE. You did something wrong, because you are not suppose to be inquiring about a Receipt Notice; it's the Approval Notice that you are "missing". Try it again.
which option did you choose for yours : please see the image.Edit:btw i only received the NOA1(account creation, and listed service center) -

Did not receive
notice
by mailalso on uscis documents tabs the document still didn't show up, status is still processing .

Congratulation Happy for you trust me i know the feeling.

I did get a response. It came from California Service Center. It's a generic response but stated that I should get a determination within 180 days. Now I'm thinking that the case was transferred to CSC. I just submitted another inquiry for missing notice, because if it was transferred then we are actually missing the notice of transfer.
i just check online its showing under documents tab: These are copies of the USCIS notices that we mail to you. If you do not see one of your notices below, check back in a few days.
anyone else received that before the actually see the document? i hope something positive
Good luck all

Hello All,
I am starting a new post for December 2019 filers of i-130 for parents. Please join to share your journey/process. ( Admin: i couldn't find any thing for December deleted if not allowed)
- I file for my Mother on 12-2019.
- Received the Priority Date 12-2019
- Received the Notice two days later with instruction to create online account, and the service Center list POTOMAC Service Center and Assigned IOE numbers.
- On Jan 2020 Online Status Changed "In Process Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review".
as of today nothing changed still showing in process.
My Question Should i send the request for outside of process or just wait? agents might get upset?

You have upwards of a year to gather documents because the petition processing takes time
sorry i didn't mean to say JUST SEND, i file in December so if i understand you correctly its takes more then a year for process ? i was reading on the USCIS website for Potomac Center its take:
7 Months to 9 Months U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21.
so from December to May its 5 Months.
Thank you again

Petitions are still being processed as normal.
4 minutes ago, Lucky Cat said:It means USCIS is processing the case. Currently, IR-5 visas are not being issued at consulates, but USCIS is still processing petitions.
9 minutes ago, payxibka said:It means your petition had been accepted and is in the queue to be reviewed. Nothing to do with any EO.
Wonderful 😃 thank you so so much all of for the quick response!
i was so Stressed, when I heard about the EO.
In the main time, can I start preparing the documents? If yes what docs do I need to submit.i just send the form I-130(paper)and the money order.

Hi Everyone,
I am sorry, this is my second post in this forum.
i have couple questions, i am US Citizen, I file for my mother in December 2019, Priority date 12-02-2019 received the I-797-C on 12-05-2019, Which says my case has been forwarded to Potomac center and instructions to creat online account.
Online status showing :
In Process
Your benefit request has been accepted and is under review.
Does that mean, the new president ban has effect my case? are they still processing the cases or everyone is effected.
i called yesterday to USCIS, asked about my case and current ban, but he stated that they don’t have the enough information, every thing is on the website.
anyone else is in the same situation?
thank you in advance
