Just curious if people have been keeping up with this case...looks like the judge issued a ruling on this on 11/19. Embassies can no longer use the presidential proclamation as the reason for not issuing K1s. Just wanted to see if anyone has contacted the NVC about this yet. Would be nice if we could all share any updates we get from them :) (apologies if someone else already started a thread on this)

I noticed you are from Greece. I'm from Greece too and I'm a plaintiff.

I was stuck at the NVC since Spring, the Embassy saying they can't process my case because of the proclamation. After the judge ruled, the Embassy replied to my emails saying they were awaiting guidance from the DOS. About a week later, they requested my case from the NVC and my case is now in transit.

I'm happy I joined this lawsuit. One thousand dollars isn't an easy amount to shake off, but who knows when the proclamation will go away? It's not set to expire.

I'm seeing people from the lawsuit get interviews, I personally don't think I'll get my interview till next year. Our country is on a strict lockdown and I don't think I'll be allowed an interview just yet. I'm not even sure how I'll gather documents for the P3 yet. But it's a start and I'll gladly take it.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Thanks so much. Will share the P3 once I get it.

Thanks, just wondering if I should call the NVC considering it says on their website that the phone line for nonimmigrant visas is suspended

  4. Hello everyone. We filed the i-129 and received our NOA2 from the California Service Center on the 27th of March. We have yet to receive an update and as far we know the NVC has not received our information. I checked the NVC website and it says that the non-immigration visa phone line has been suspended and that they cannot respond to inquires about non-immigration visas via email.

So... Is this normal? Should we be doing something?
