Maybe I'm interpreting the instructions incorrectly, but in the I-693 instructions it states: "The Form I-693 must be dated no earlier than 60 days before you filed your underlying application. A properly and timely completed Form I-693 remains valid for two years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature." And then from, https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/alerts/extension-of-temporary-waiver-of-60-day-rule-for-civil-surgeon-signatures-on-form-i-693, it looks like they waived the requirement until March 31st, 2023. For my situation, the K1 having an updated vaccination record since their interview is in a few weeks. However, we have not received an appointment for the K2, but it could be more than 60 days away. My concern is that it is after the 60 days and they won't accept the sealed I-693 when we bring it to the interview. I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand. Are you saying it is acceptable to show up without a joint tax return? Thank you again for your assistance!

After what seems like forever (initial submission of I-129F in May 2020), we have finally received one of the notices for our AOS interview. I do have some questions and I apologize in advance if these are asked daily. I tried going through the stickies, but my questions remained. I was hoping the AOS interview notice would contain specific info for our case, but it was just a generic letter with the terms "if required". Any help/assistance with the below questions would be greatly appreciated. 1. K1 and K2 filed their AOS, EAD, and AP all at the same time. They both received almost identical case status updates for AOS (biometrics scheduling, "actively reviewing", etc), but only the K1 has received a notice of an interview. Should we bring the K2 to the K1's interview? We never received any RFEs for either the K1 or K2's submissions (AOS, EAD, AP). However, both of their DS-3025's have the following checkbox in section 2 selected... "K Visa applicant electing not to be vaccinated at this examination". Both the K1 and K2 were either waived or met most of the requirements and we decided to complete the remainder of the vaccines once they got stateside. They have either completed or will complete the vaccines prior to their interviews. 2. The Civil Surgeon's office I called did not initially want to perform just a vaccination update. The I-693 instructions state that only parts 1-5, 7, and 10 need to be filled out. I was able to talk them into just completing parts 1-5, 7, and 10 for our upcoming appointment. Will there be issues if sections 6, 8, and 9 are left blank in the sealed I-693 paperwork? Is there another form, similar to the DS-3025, that they should be filling out instead? 3. The K2's interview notice hasn't arrived yet so I'm hesitant to schedule her appointment since the sealed I-693 expires after 60 days. I would rather schedule her appointment once we receive an interview notice than send in the paperwork in case it gets mishandled. Is this the recommended course of action? I submitted an I-864 with the AOS packages. 4. Would we have received an RFE if the I-864 wasn't accepted? I don't know if I should bring another form or not. 5. Is it recommended/necessary to bring recent pay stubs and employment verification to the interview? Another line item in items to bring with you to the interview is "Birth Certificates for all children of this marriage, and custody papers for your children and for your spouse's children not living with you". 6. My spouse has 3 children. We have birth certificates for all 3, but only one of them immigrated to the US. One child is no longer a minor, and there is no formal custody paperwork for the remaining child. Will this be an issue? For the supporting evidence of a relationship, we have a joint bank account (not really used since my spouse doesn't have an income - no EAD yet), we are on the same homeowner/car insurance policy, both K1 and K2 are listed under my health insurance, they are authorized users on some of my credit cards, and we have lots of photos that we have taken together as well as flight records of trips taken together. 7. I know a joint tax return is a recommended document to bring to the interview. However, my tax advisor has informed me that I will likely have to file an extension this year. Will this be an issue or will the joint extension be sufficient evidence that shows our intent to file taxes jointly this year? Our interview is several weeks before taxes filing is due. Thank you all for the useful information! We will be in a premium cabin for our trips, so we should have some sort of priority when we get to the airport. We plan on getting there early anyway just in case there are any document issues. From my understanding, as long as the name on the passport matches the name on the ticket, everything else can be resolved at the desk.

My wife entered the US on a K-1 a few months ago, we got married, and filed for I-485/765/131 shortly after. I'm planning some refundable international travel for next year assuming she is approved for her green card. We plan to visit several countries, including the UK which is where she immigrated from. She also took my last name and we filed all AOS paperwork with her new name. I understand that she will have to travel on her UK passport. So for all flight bookings, I've been using her maiden name and UK nationality which matches her passport. I've encountered two issues so far which I could use some help on if anyone is knowledgeable enough. 1 - Some flight bookings require "Region of Residence". I'm not really sure what to put here because she lives in the US, but her passport is from the UK. 2 - Do I use her UK passport or green card for the flight back to the US? If I use her passport, the name won't match the green card and I just want to make sure that this won't cause any problems at CBP. Thank you in advance for your help.
