  1. Hey........I got a touch !!!!!!

Thank you ASH....Seasuirl....I love you guys...the FRE trick worked!!!! I was able to talk to someone at the CSC. He was NICE, different from all the idiotic brain dead nincompoops who don't know anything but pretend to be up on things and sound like a broken record. This guy was refreshing and honest. At least I found out that my case has not been assigned yet but will be soon....He said they get over 30,000 applications a month at CSC...maybe hard to believe but possible!

I called friday evening....there was no touch on saturday. But today, sunday, I found a touch dated August 31 !!! I know it was the phone call but that makes me feel GREAT !!!!!

THANK YOU ASH........Hope you get your NOA2 soon...

    Steve

  2. Anybody know the Telephone number for CSC? The telephone number at USCIS site 800-375-5283 does not go to CSC...After 5 calls to that number I found out that this number is totally useless as they cannot DO anything...just give you the bullshit talk to keep you waiting and get you off their back. The last person I spoke to told me that there is no number for CSC...and if you go there in person they will refuse to talk to you. Is this democracy? Not by a long shot. There must be a way....we should all show up at their door and hold a rally....or we should all complain to our Congressmen. This is ridiculous!!!

  3. Hey guys...I am jealous !! All I want is a touch !!! I called CSC twice today. Spoke to two different people...got different answers about the application receipt date. The NOA1 says May 7th...but NOA1 was sent on May 30th. Both of them said they are working on February applications at this time and I should wait 6 months before considering my application outside the allotted time frame....we all know that is a lie. My request to assign my application fell on deaf ears...just have to wait...and keep harassing them until they pull the file off the shelf !!!

  4. I once read a story about a miner, he headed west during the gold rush days to stake his claim.

He finally made it to Colorado, staked his claim and started digging. Sure enough, he struck Gold. He covered the hole

and headed back east. Once he made it home, he borrowed as much money as possible, purchased the finest drilling equipment, hired men and headed back west.

This Miner went back to that same place and started digging, he did find a lot of Gold there, it was coming fast, he was dreaming of being wealthy.

Then one fateful day, he hits dirt. The Gold Vein dried up, they kept digging for a while but finally gave up.

Fortunately for him, he had found enough gold to pay off all his debts. This miner found a local junk man and sold all his

minning equipment for just a few hundred dollars.

Well, this old junk man saw an opportunity, he hired a proffessional surveyor, the surveyor was

an expert at surveying fault lines, he said that there was still gold nearby. The old Junk man started digging again.

Well, as luck would have it, the gold vein picked up only 3 feet away from the old vein, they gave up 3 feet short.

Just 3 feet away and the original miner would have found a very large Gold vein, so large in fact that it would have made him a multi-millionaire. The Junk man did become a multi-millionaire.

It pays to be paitient, sometimes we can find our selves just 3 feet from success and wanting to give up, never give up. Failure is a true trickster, when success is the closest, failure will try to trip us up the hardest. Keep going

    forward and don't look back.

Good luck guys, hope this little story helps. Maybe some of you have heard it before, maybe some of you are thinking of giving up, don't do it. It's a true story, I just don't remember the names.

    Kenny

Great story...thanks. Just goes to show that patience is a virtue. The stock market is similar...you buy the brightest technologies for the future and patiently hold them through a roller coaster ride until you are richly rewarded...it does require a lot of patience!!! However the visa application is different...if the file is sitting in some high school flunky's office for four months gathering dust it speaks poorly about the system in general. We don't give up...but think about Plan B...which is to move to a different country where both of us can live happily ever after....I must admit we are getting close to Plan B.... no touches since the application was received by NSC on May 7th!!!

Good luck to all...and congrats to the May filers who made it...

  5. No touch since June 1st, I WANT TO GET TOUCHED, TOUCH ME PLEASE, FONDLE ME IF YOU WANT!!! (Frustration likely due to a prolonged separation with my fiancée, but we're seen each other for Labor Day halfway, in NYC... pardon the screaming).

I guess my turn will be coming soon too since our filing date is towards the very end of the month. And hopefully our plans will work out: she has bought her ticket for LAX for Oct 4th and our wedding date is Oct 27th! Hopefully the USCIS will join the party and process our application on time. Without the K1, she would still come as a tourist and fly back to Switzerland when the appointment comes.

    Wish us luck.

    Stephan

Our original hopeful date is Oct. 27 also, but we may end up moving it back--who knows??! My honey tried 3x last year for a tourist visa from Romania and of course did not get it; so he's never even been to the U.S. We were last together in March. :crying: He will have a lot of adjustments to make, but we can handle it with God's help  Here's thinking positive though---October 27!!!

No wedding plans yet...waiting for the visa. It will be nice to have a wedding at the Mandalay Bay or the Venetian in Las Vegas. Their wedding packages are very nice...but we don't want to make reservations or send out the invitations until my honey gets here...soon, I hope...

No touches yet and no NOA2...

    Good luck to us all,

    Steve

  6. AAAHHHHHH! We just got an actual *touch* I thought I was seeing things so I refreshed the page! And yep, it is an actual touch! I haven't even called them yet so it's an actual touch! I am all about smiling at least they are doing something with it...now will it be an approval or RFE? We shall see!

    Hopeful Always,

    Annette

Congrats!!! I wish I also had the luck of the Irish....

  7. yeah I really hope this is going to be a good week because so many of us are waiting

This will be a great week!!! Let's be positive guys!

I waited the whole day to check my case online and see if I got any touches.....so finally, I decided to take a look a couple minutes ago and it is still the same....On May 9, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).....and blah blah blah....TOCHED: 05/15/2007!!!

Quick question guys! My NOA1 has to dates. It says RECEIVED DATE-May 7 and NOTICE DATE-May 9......on the USCIS website says the received my case on May 9 so which one is the right one to put on my timeline--NOA1 Date??????

    --Mirla.

    Hi Mirla:

Received May 7th and NOA1 on May 9th...now that is very fast !!! Mine was received on May 7th and transfered to California from Nebraska and therefore NOA1 was May 30th. To answer your question, NOA1 is May 9th for you. They made the same mistake on my internet site...changed the "received" date to May 30th instead of May 7th which the paper NOA1 states. The paper is more accurate...I also have a certified mail receipt !!

Hope they send us the NOA2 in the first week of September...

    Wish you the best,

    Steve

  8. Just checking in to see if there was any good news :P .

No good news here....no touch and no NOA2. The process seems so unjust and primitive...the system is badly in need of an overhaul. They are taking away valuable time out of people's lives and don't realize the ramifications of inactivity !!! At the same time I see millions of uneducated illegals and refugees...it is grossly unfair !!!

Now that makes me feel better...maybe I won't run for political office !!

    God bless you all...

    Steve

  9. "Omg! I understand how could you be feeling now Annette! I thought I was the only one waiting 101 days!!! What is taking so long for these people to check our files! For real, how hard could it be to approve some files!!! heh heh. I don't think there's only one person in charge of K1 visas! Come on! Like you said Okspider (sorry, I don't know your name  ) We are all getting paranoid!!!! Nobody knows how frustrating this feeling is!

I just wanna get out of my country ASAP, we just had an earthquake on wednesday night and since then 340 aftershocks!!! I'm scared shitless and I don't wanna die heeeerrreeee!!! :crying: I wanna see my fiance first!!! :help: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :D "

OMG! You are in the middle of those earthquakes and aftershocks! How awful! I will say some prayers for you and yours, I hope you will get some good news soon! Hopefully, we ALL will...

Come on CSC and VSC let's get some good news so we can start our weekends with a smile

    Annette

Yes...our prayers for all those innocent people who suffered in this disaster. May God give them the strength to go on...

You sound like someone truly in love...I admire you !!! Hope your NOA2 comes soon...

I have been with Irina almost every month for several months... I fly to Kiev and she takes a train. We spend 7-10 days together at a time. We are both anxiously waiting for the NOA2...some good news should be coming soon...

    Steve
