Clarification is required if  I-130 processing for these categories will continue inside USCIS/NVC/Consulate internally but only issuance of Visa will be put on hold for 2 months . Therefore there will not be any delay in processing of I-130 at these stages ? Subsequently they will start issuing the visa after the Interview , after 60 days .

 

 Or otherwise they will drop out these cases all together at all levels and stop I-130 processing . So there will be delay at every stage ?

My cousin just received NVC notice for case creation to submit fees, AOS and documents yesterday only for I130 she filed for her parents IR5 category. So i guess NVC is still processing cases. I am not sure if they will get interview or not. My case is also stuck at NVC. It is documentary qualified and in line for interview for my parents. I hope they get interview soon and the ban is lifted.

So is it likely that my parents will get the interview right away if the ban is lifted after 60 days or their number for interview get Further delayed?

In the Coronavirus thread there is a thread about a Whitehouse petition for the USC to sign.  Also the petitioner can contact their two senators and house member.

Thank you so much for the respond. I already signed the petition. I Am not worried about 60 days because embassy is anyway closed in my country until May 14. I am just worried that the ban will not be lifted after 60 days and my case will be stuck forever when it is this close. I really wish this is my nightmare.

So it applies to IR5 category correct? The parent is US citizen?

Thank you for responding. I am so nervous. We are so closed just waiting for interview date and now this. 

I am a US citizen, filed for my parent on IR5 category. Their case is at NVC. All documents are approced and case is ready for the interview. Does it affect to me??
