  1. Concurrently Filing- Sent my AOS package via USPS to Chicago Lockbox on 07/31/2020 and it says it was delivered 08/04/2020. I checked the delivery info and it doesn't say anyone signed for it, just delivered. Is this normal? My check has not been cashed yet and we have not received a text message. I understand things may take longer due to Covid but its been 10 days (08/14/2020) since being delivered. Should I be worried??

Screenshot your error message and also write a letter explaining situation. And include all your assets and liabilities in Canada thats what they want to see

Thank you for your reply. I have moved from Canada to the US and basically sold anything that would be considered an asset (car etc). When including liabilities (educational debt) must I print supporting documents and then convert to US currency to properly fill out the form?

  3. I am so confused about this form I-944. If anyone can give some help it would be greatly appreciated.

First- I don’t have a SSN and have yet to combine any financed with my husband which means no credit history. Will screenshots of the error messages on these credit sites be enough proof that credit history doesn’t exist?
Second- I recently arrived in the states and  I have not worked since arriving. Therefore, no income or US bank accounts, no assets, US debts etc... I do however have College debt in Canada, a credit card, and can provide Canadian bank statements. Am I required to submit these or are they only asking about US?

    I found this on Citizenpath:

USCIS will review your U.S. credit report and the credit score submitted with your I-944 declaration, if available, to review your financial status. Many new immigrants do not have any U.S. credit history or credit score. This is normal and won’t disqualify you for a green card.

Before you answer these questions, obtain a free credit report. You are entitled to a free credit report once a year under the Fair Credit Reporting Act from each one of the three credit reporting agencies. You are only required to provide one credit report from any of the three nationwide credit reporting agencies: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. If you do not have a credit report, use the credit agency’s documentation to demonstrate that you do not have a credit report or score.

This works if someone has a SSN but what happens if someone doesn’t? This won’t apply because all 3 credit agencies require a SSN to complete application.
