  1. Your company’s attorney team would need to handle the RFE response but I wanted to offer a few other ideas that can sometimes be used

pay records showing you are paid directly from the petitioner

corporate brochures outlining the benefits offered to employees

organization chart showing the structure of your team, including the people you report to and and people who report to you

a letter from your company explaining your position, the nature of the company, their work model and how traveling to a client site is typical for the position

itinerary that explains your travel schedule

I definitely think it is possible to file without a client letter but your employer’s legal team should be handling the response and should handle obtaining any necessary documents

  2. Consulates are closed for now, but otherwise your employer would advise you based on your husband’s job and which Consulate you would plan to schedule your visa appointment. Some consulates are verrryyy difficult to get an approval. Chennai India denies almost all L blanket petitions. If you have enough time, are currently in the US, and if you don’t have travel plans, it seems like it would make the most sense to apply with USCIS via regular processing, filing closet to the end of your status expiration date and your husband could continue to work for up to 240 days after his I-94 expires.

yes your h1b i-94 has not been activated. it wont happen until you leave and come back into the country on h1 visa.  its not a glitch

Since your petition was filed as a change of status and a new I-94 has been attached to the approval notice, you are not required to travel to activate your status.

CBP website will not reflect your I-94 expiration from USCIS because they only monitor when you physically enter/leave the US.

You should be able to renew your license through the validity period listed on your current I-797. If you have any issues, try asking for a supervisor (when you are able to get back to the DMV or try calling the local office)
