  1. I guess I wasn't clear, sorry. :(

The only pages that I sent in with the visa application was the authenticated decree from the Dept of State. It was all of two pages. I did not have to send in all the other pages which outline the child support, property distribution, etc.

To be on the safe side, I'd ask this in the K-1 section since you will probably get more responses. Good luck!

u mean ur divorce decree is also 30 pages or just us?? lol.. we even dont know here

Actually I just went to count and mine is 16 pages so you win the prize!!! Mine would have been more but my lawyer was 89 years old and could barely remember his own name. He was a friend of my dad's though and only charged me $100. lol

u are the one who win the prize then ..lol

16 pages sounds nice comparing by our file

    thanks alot

  3. how to copy divorce decree if its about 30 pages , which pages we should copy???

Hmmm...well when I got married in Cairo I had to present my divorce decree first to the US Embassy. To get the one they wanted I had to 1) get a copy of the divorce from the court that I got the divorce in, 2) bring that copy to the State House to have it certified and then 3)send that certified copy to the Department of State to have it authenticated (they even have a signature on it from Condi Rice :) ).

Anyway the copy that I sent in with my I130 and I129 was the one that I got from the Dept of State.

no, we are going on k1 fiance visa and they ask for final divorce decree from any previos marriage , my fiancee have her divorce decree but its big file about 30 pages , when we going to send it should we make copy of all this pages or just some????

  4. A&A,

She needs the divorce certificate, typically only 1 or 2 pages long, not the divorce settlement. The certificate will say only that the divorce is granted effective such and such a date, the settlement will describe in detail how the marital assets are to be divided between the two people.

The document that you mentions sounds more like the settlement given its' length, although the certificate may be the 1st page or 2 of it.

my fiancee (the petitioner) have her original divorce decree and its about 30 pages , how we copy it, should we copy it all or just first page or what??

we even dont know, but what if we make copy all of it ...is it will coz any problems becuase this only what we have ..very big file contains about 30 pages.

  6. any thing else other than copies???

First, don't forget the check in the amount of $170.00 USD. Second, I-129F Supplement: Part B, Question 18, explanation of meeting in person. Third, you stated you have a copy of your fiancee's birth certificate, you need a copy of your birth certificate, because you are the petitioner. Also, T-R-I-P-L-E check the forms! Then, have someone you trust look over the forms with a fresh pair of eyes . Pay special attention to signatures, and items such as fiancee's name in native alphabet. Compare them against the example forms on this website. Finally, relax.....it'll all work out.

    Thanks,

my fiancee is the petitioner .

is there special form for the I-129f Supplement or we should write it ??
