Another question- how long after biometrics did you all recieve the EAD?
-
Update on my case. I received an email reply stating that my biometrics appt letter is being sent to me. Finally.
Is a Tier 1 officer able to tell me the date of my appointment? Asking in case anyone knows before I call to bother them again.
My wife and I are out of town for the month. Ill drive back for my appointment if need be, however it would be nice to get the date to plan things out and make sure we don't miss it. That reprint your appointment online site doesn't work for me either.

I just tried this. It doesn't work. The system just tells you it's going to hang up if you keep pressing buttons after the 2nd time.
It used to work but they seem to have caught on. If anyone else discovers something that works please do share. Its so unfair for them to not allow us to contact them this way.

Has anyone had an experience of no action on service request? My EAD is delayed beyond normal processing time and the last time I called they said they are raising a service request and I have to wait 30 days. The same has passed and now when I call USCIS they tell me all they can do is put in another request and I have to again wait for 30 days just to hear on it. What can be done in this case? Is there no way but to wait. I am on my 8th month of AOS now.
Nothing to add except I'm in the same boat. No response on service request. No biometrics. Nothing works. Now I cant even get through to USCIS on the phone. It's hopeless and disheartening as we are going through a difficult situation financially with a new baby due in a few weeks. We would just be so grateful to get the EAD and don't even care if AOS takes a while at this point.

Question #1:
Has anyone in this office recieved their biometrics letter? We've been waiting for ours since April 7th with absolutely no notices other than NOA1. We already filed a service request after the 90days since opening, it has been 30+days since our service request filing and no response. Is this the slowest office or something? Even Seattle seems quicker from the posts I've read. Is there somewhere I can view processing times for my specific ASC?
Question #2:
My husband and I have the opportunity to change our address to move in with my parents in their new home. It will be in another county (Palm Beach) so new ASC. Could this help us get our biometrics quicker or will we make things worse? Should we keep living in this house waiting for the Oakland Park office?
Edit to add: we filed for EAD and AOS after a k1 marriage.

I just sent you a direct message. In addition, you can raise a service request for your EAD.
Hi Dutch, can you send me a messege too as I'm in a similar situation?

Are there any updates on your case? My husband filed in June, got an RFE which was received on July 20th and we haven't gotten any biometrics appointment letter in the mail. We are also in South Florida
Sadly nothing still! Its very frustrating

My situation is similar to the above, except.my NOA1 is April 7th

I have tried and given up. The wait time is always more than 40 mins and they keep repeating the same thing wait another 10 days or 15 days. We don't know why is there a delay. No further information. I have tried multiple times to speak with a tier 2 officer, most of the times they say we can't get anyone on line and there's nothing else to be done. A few times some reps told me to hold while they checked for the officer and they just hung up on me. I have exhausted all tricks. But if you get any success do share with us. It feels like there is no other way but to wait with no certainty.
Hey, wanted to let you know what worked for me to reach a live person on the phone. Dont say anything and once the AI asks you a question just keep pressing #. I spoke to someone really quickly but the news is still disappointing. She put in a service inquiry because is has been 7 months on my case and over 90 days since my ASC office opened. But she said I will not hear back before 30 days, and can't guarantee when they will get back to me? The delay is unbearable and so unfair.

Hi H&C,
I was able to reach them yesterday and I ended up pressing the # key a few times I believe. The first time I did it said "I can understand full sentences, what is it that you would like to ask me?" and then i kept pressing the # key and it transferred me to speak to a tier 1.
Oh my word, it actually worked. I did not say a word and within two presses of '#' I was transferred. Thank you so much!

I wholeheartedly agree!
Thank you! I sure hope so. It's been almost 6 weeks now since my GC interview. I spoke with USCIS this morning and I'm on a call back request list to speak with a tier 2 agent. I hope they can at least give me something. It's frustrating being left in the dark. Knowledge is power and reduces the anxiety of just being left waiting in the unknown.
Best of luck to you! 🙂
May i ask what you told the automated system in order to reach a representative? I havent been able to reach a live person and the system just says it can't help me and hangs up on me.

Same boat. No biometric and complete radio silence. Our application receipt date is 27 April, when I called USCIS claiming the EAD is past due, their answer was to wait 15 more days. Depending on what our local field office and when it re-opened post lockdown, we should have received update on EAD within 90 days of reopening. But we haven't even received the biometric appointment yet.
Doing nothing but adding to your vent honestly.
Same here. No bio, nothing. Pd date April 7. Very disheartening.
I also haven't been able to speak to a representative. They made it impossible. If anyone figured out what to say please post it.

Hi all. Is there anyone who still has not received biometrics appointment letter? I haven't had my case updated at all since they received my response to RFE. Any advice on what I should do?
Pd date April 7, have not recieved biometrics or anything else. I'm in south florida

So excited you guys have finally received good news with biometrics and I hope to get mine soon too!
May I ask, did your status change online in the USCIS case status checker, or did you receive the letter out of the blue?

Thanks for your reply, I was slightly confused when I wrote that post.
The receipt they give you there is just the allowed one to submit an inquiry about outside normal processing times and I thought it meant something else.
Anyway getting ready to wait and wait more time..
It's very upsetting seeing so many people that filled in June or July already got their EAD and we are lost in the system 😕
When is your noa1 date?
I'm actually an early April filer, just reached the 6 month mark and still no biometrics as opposed to most other April and even some May filers. I am so disappointed to hear even some February filers like yourself are hearing crickets! We really need EAD as well and not in a rush for anything else. I know there's not much we can do.

Thank you so much for the information. I'm from California. That actually makes feel a bit better. I just have a bad feeling that they may have lost my paperwork. I kept calling and asking for the update. Just hope for the best here.
My noa date is April7 and I am in the same boat as you. I'm in South Florida. It's very frustrating being one of the few petitions where nothing seems to be happening. Not even biometrics!

APRIL 2020 AOS FILERS
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

What date did they give you? Wondering how far in advance notice they provide. And do you plan to walk in?
