  1. This is what the letter says: "NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Georgetown., Guyana. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition." Is this their usual wording? Or is the "can take several weeks" due to COVID? I've heard usually after you receive that it only takes a week and then you can schedule your interview. Also, I need to wait to be contacted to schedule my interview? That says my fiancé will be contacted, but I thought I was the one that would be contacted.
  2. Are the interviews done in English? Or do they have a translator?
