If your joint sponsor filed as Married Filing Jointly, he should fill out form I-864 AND his spouse should fill out form I-864A. So, you need to submit 3 forms: I-864 from you, I-864 from joint sponsor, I-864A from joint sponsor's spouse.
this is very helpful, thank you.

Answers:
- I-864
- 4 (both kids count regardless of whether one of them is claimed by their father or not)
- Will defer to others, I'm not 100% sure what the correct answer is.
- Will defer to others more familiar with self-employment and the I-864.
thank you for your help. the joint sponsor filled his tax as married do he have to fill out form I-864 OR I-864A?

3, yes you can count child support if it is court ordered. Document it with the court order or divorce decree etc.
4. You can say you are self employed and show an occupation but until the income shows on a tax return, you have no income from self employment. If you start a business, you no longer qualify as "unemployed".
Thank you very much for your help. I have a joint sponsor, do you think it will be helpfull?

You can file for the expedite but do not expect this to hurry up the visa process
the USCIS paperwork may go thru faster but the NVC process has always been up to you to pay the fees in a timely manner and get the supporting documents to NVC as fast as possible (you can help with this now by getting the IRS transcripts for 2019, 2018 and 2017 and have them ready) The 2 criminal reports should not be done until requested by NVC as one of them expires in 90 days.
After the interview, Casa puts all in AP for weeks or months for review of the security ds document
you really need to know all the ups and downs of this process in Morocco
If you are working for someone else, you may want to keep that job and delay opening the new business till he is here
allah yekbel means allah answer your prayers
Thank you very much for the information.
Jazaka llaho khayran.

hello everyone, i have a question about exedating my case for cr1 spousal visa at uscis stage. I'm opening a busuness in USA (already registered) and need my Husband to to be in usa to support me and help me emotionally and fianacially. I have 2 kids and can't make it all by myself. He is helping me aboard so far by covering some costumer service but I need him to be here soon. having a job, opening a business and kids it's way too much for one person and he is the only one i can trust and i can count on to succeed in this business. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Congrats to all that have been approved!
We submitted November 12, first NOA on November 18th. NOA said it was sent to Potomac. I am USC, spouse is Spanish.
I just checked MyUSCIS and it hasn't updated since January 10, 2020!!!
Is this a situation where you should message and ask if it's been transferred? I'm not really sure if there is anything I should do, or just be patient and hope for an update soon!
i have the same situation, I caled them and they said my case still in Potomac. last update was 01/22/2020.

I tried and failed... It would not allow a U.S. address to be used. I even emailed the company, asking about their other policies too... Eventually they confessed that their policies are no good for immigrants... I'd guess that K1's would be OK though, as technically not an immigrant. I'd advise caution.

If you log in to your uscis account and see where it is written the case is received and under review, right on top of it you will see the date.
For it to change, you will have to monitor your acct on a regular basis.
Hope i answered your question.
thank you for your respond. they did not make any change since 01/11/2020 is this normal?

Excellent but just so you know pushbrk was not have a go, this is a common pattern seen on here.
i don't like it when people make it looks hard when it's not. i really don't need to hear something like that now. but it was a good info, at least i know my case is strong.

It really depends on the totality of circumstances in your case. It's also possible the financial issues will be secondary to other issues. We see many problems with spouse visa cases coming from Morocco. Lots of good ones too. But, when I see a woman trying to bring her husband from Morocco, with children, divorced, and concerned about the affidavit of support, I start thinking of a classic scenario. How many of YOUR circumstances fit these.
1. Significant reverse age difference. (Woman is older)
2. She has been divorced, but it's his first marriage
3. Her income is low
4. Marriage on first visit with little time together in person
5. No visits after the marriage
If your circumstances are similar to the majority of the above, they aren't going to believe the relationship is bona fide, so the financial issues will be secondary to that.
For reference: http://fianceandspousevisa.com/are-older-women-marrying-younger-men-discriminated-against/
my circumstances are way different. thanks for your time.

He'll need a plan to purchase health insurance. Nobody knows what their medical expenses will be. They could be far more than his available assets. You and your children are already on means tested benefits, so not good, but not necessarily a deal killer either. Medicaid is a means tested benefit, meaning you have it because your income is low enough to qualify for it,
do i have to drop medicade for me if it will help the situation?
my income is really good almost double what they ask for to sponsor my husband but because of my 2 kids and I'm divorced i was approved for it.

You are today's champion at providing NOT enough information to get a meaningful answer to your question. What do you mean by "state insurance"? If you mean medicaid, probably a big issue. Otherwise, it depends on what, how, and when he can get on the same insurance.
sorry for the confusion. Yes, i have medicad for health insurance me and my 2 kids. for my husband i'm planning to purshace a travel or tourist health insurance for his first 30 days but one of my friends told me that my husband can provide an evidence like bank statment that shows his able to pay for his medical expenses for the first 30 dyas in USA. I'm still confuse specially after new public charge rules.

Compare your actual income to the requirement at the time you need to provide the affidavit of support, to know if you qualify. Is 65% of your normal paycheck enough to qualify now?
i think it is enough, but will see. also i have a state health insurance is it going to be an issue for my spouse to ge apporved for CR1 VISA?

It depends. Are you getting paid during this leave? Is your case at NVC ready to have the affidavit of support submitted. The real answer to your question depends on the exact circumstances at the time you need to actually provide the affidavit of support.
yes, I'm getting paid 65% of my paycheck. my case still at uscis step with a estimate approval date betwen 09 and 19 of july 2020
