Although I do see in the phase resumption document that for immigrant visas like F2A, it will be IR of US citizens prioritized and no mention of IR of LPR, so I assume they won't be scheduling interviews for a while. Better than nothing at least.

Does that mean for F2A applications that NVC can now start scheduling interviews? Last time I talked to NVC they said they couldn't schedule my spouse's interview until March 31st because of the prior administration's proclamation. Does this act from the new administration allow F2A interviews to resume?

As a LPR who is currently sponsoring my spouse, I am devastated and disgusted.

So much time waiting already because of unknown delays and now this... makes me feel to want to jump off a bridge.

Does anyone know what happens to an I-130 that was approved? Is it basically gone and we have to start again from scratch, or does it remain active and the embassy/NVC part is on hold for a spouse outside the country?

Including fiances of USC and not even spouses of LPRs is just so unfair.

Wishing you good luck getting that petition to fruition by pitting LPRs and USCs against each other, you could easily more than double number of signatures by including both.

I am LPR, my spouse waiting for GC, and some people in here seem to think we shouldn't have that right, am I understanding correctly?

It is extremely unfair to not include LPRs. Will NOT sign this petition that is only going to exacerbate inequalities.

I am LPR very soon eligible for citizenship and my spouse just got the I-130 approved and is waiting for consulate interview for their GC. 2 questions:

• Can I still apply for citizenship with this EO?
• Unclear if my spouse will be impacted or not, but in the worst case would my spouse still keep the approved I-130 or have to start again from scratch?
