  1. Hi Tripti & Parag

I see that you are a June filer, I filed in July end, and my NOA in August 7th. Anyway I am new to the post, even though I have been a silent reader for a while now. Just wondering how I can browse your list to the july filers, I think we are on deck to bat next month. Thanks and God speed. I have been to New Delhi a number of times and enjoyed it very much.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cliff

  2. It's worth a try, my fiance' got a 5 year Toursit Visa and she visited me in the US in May, but that was before I applied for the K-1 Visa, which I did in July. I think as long as she sounds honest about going back, the Immigration desk at the airport will let her into the US. We have yet to try this. One immigraton lawyer told us not to state anything about the K-1 submision, unless they ask about it. Why complicate a situation when it is not necessary.

    Hi guys !

I was wondering if anyone has experience with that? Can one travel on tourist visa while being processed?

Probably it is hard to get a tourist visa if mentioning that one has a fiance in USA. So , what if one lies at embassy about that and they discover it. Can it have an influence on the fiance visa that is being processed?

Let`s assume I manage to get a tourist visa though. Will they let me across the border with it since I am in the middle of process of getting the fiance one...

Does anyone have experience with anything like that?

    Any help is welcomed.

  3. Well, we met in Washington D.C. while she was on a study tour last year. I have been to Brazil twice, she came here to the US to visit, once. We also took a vacation in Europe this year. Thinking that the K-1 process would be fast, I applied in July, but now wish I had applied earlier. I don't think my petition would be reviewed unitl December, if the dates posted reflect, actuals. She is reluctant to quit her job unitl notification of interview. I do enjoy my trip to Brazil, but I am burning up lots of leave.
