Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? If you're the beneficiary you'll need to get your EAD before you can change jobs.
I am the positioner and I thought my beneficiary could change or do any job she's wants after i765 is approved and she has her SSI card .

Yes, it is - Just be prepared with paystubs, a job offer letter, etc... at the interview so that you can provide proof you still have valid employment -
Okay thank you for the info.

Is it okay if I change jobs during the k1/green card process?

I agree with @Paul & Mary. When you leave a child behind it has an impact on your wife. Trust me, there are so many that have tried it your way only to regret it. Like Paul said, get additional work and try and do your best to bring the child. I had two that came, one in college and the other in middle school. The MS child fit right in at school. He has so many friends and yes, he is acting just like a western teenager. Wanting to be independent but failing at times. Good luck and stay engaged.
My fiance does not live with her child currently he lives in the Philippines and she lives in Taiwan also I will not file i-130 if he does not want to come my fiance told me he wants to stay behind until he finishes school

You know that will be at least 6 to 9 months after getting married? EADs and APs are no longer "fast". She only as a year to bring her son as a K2 follow to join.
It would be much smarter cost and travel wise to do it together. Get a part time job or joint sponsor for the AOS. The issue looks to be when they AOS.
You have to make enough to cover all immigrants you are sponsoring. It isn't one at a time. Until your wife has enough work credit or becomes a citizen she will be an immigrant that you are sponsoring.
Yes I'm familiar with the green card process but like I said her son doesn't want to come here until he is older so I'm not going to file for him if he does not want to come. AIT already received my petition and sent my fiance packet 3 so we are getting very close to the interview

Yes but I already sent that I 134 and all the supporting documents to Taiwan . Along with proof of relationship and all other corresponding documents my fiance is already working on her ds-160 a prepare for the interview
I make enough to sponsor one immigrant at a time but I do not make enough to sponsor her and her child so if we want to do that I would have to wait for her to get a job so she could be a co-sponsor but anyways her son wants to stay in the Philippines for now. In the future I plan on immigrating to the Philippines for retirement

You are kinda close
17,240 and 21,550 for 1 immigrant
21,720 and 27,150 for 2 immigrants.

I make about 26k a year which is well over the income requirement for both the K-1 visa and green card so I'm fine the k1visa I believe is 19,000 and the green card is 21,000

If the son is not traveling, then no documentation is needed at the interview. If you decide later that you want him to join, then you will have to schedule an interview for him along with the same documentation that your fiancé requires.
Just a heads up. It's hard to separate a mother from their children. Think this through. I brought my wife and her two children, and my wife reminds me each time the topic is talked about that she wouldn't have come if she had to leave her children behind. It was one of the best decisions I made. Our marriage survived because of that little jester.
I dont think I have enough money to sponsor both at the same time and her son told her he want to stay in his country so I will not force the child

Each K visa applicant must fill out a Form DS-160, pay K visa fee, and prepare required supporting documents, including medical report before booking a K visa appointment. Once the K1 applicant is ready for an appointment, he/she must make an appointment through http://www.ustraveldocs.com/tw/, a website maintained by our authorized partner, CGI Stanley. For additional information regarding the online appointment, please contact the call center via email, support-taiwan@ustraveldocs.com.
So will my Fiance need to get her sons birth certificate even if he doesn't come to America?
-
Does my Fiance need to bring her son's birth certificate to the interview if her son is not coming to America with her ? ... the consulate she will be going to is AIT in Taipei Taiwan

The NVC notified me that they forwarded my I129F Petition to the embassy/ consulate on form K1-FTP so can my Fiance now get all the required documents and make an appointment with the consulate ?

Why would someone who is obtaining a visa in the Philippines care about Turkey?! Lol

The only reason for a copy of the I-129f, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) at the interview is for you to study it to have more information about your fiancé. USEM is so relax that it is not really needed.
Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of the conversation. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will better prepare you for your interview.
She will have her interview in Taiwan she lives in Taiwan currently but she is a Filipina.
-
So I forgot to make photo copies of my i129f petition will my fiance be okay at her interview with out a copy? Or can USCIS send me a copy of the petition?
-
Okay thank you . I just thought USCIS send the I129F petition to the embassy in my fiance's country.
-
She was never married I know she will need my divorce decree
-
Yes I know she need a police clarence from both Taiwan and Philippines. Wont the embassy already have the Cenomar since it's in the i129f petition?
-
I sent the cenomar with i129f and she has her birth certificate but we have not got the police clarence yet since it's to early I also will send i134 to her with the supporting documents
-
She is from the Philippines but currently working in Taiwan so she will go to the embassy in Taipei.
-
Okay thanks.
-
Yes but I noticed I put the wrong name on the I129F after I got off the phone with USCIS. All the rest of the places on I129f where her name goes and the other supporting documents are all correct.
-
So I just got a I-797C in the mail and I noticed they spelled my beneficiaries name wrong then I went back in my forms and noticed on the first section of of i129f I spelled her name wrong so I called immigration and they said they will change it could I be rejected for this? Her name is Arlyn I put Aryln .... I made a typo
