The status changed to actively reviewing on April 14th.

Especially because it was the i485 that got the RFE and not the combo card section.

So, if our interview was waived, why would they approve the EAD card and not just the green card? It’s kind of useless to have both of them now.. especially when it seems our green card is about to get approved 😅

Okay. I submitted my wife’s AOS package last June. We’re adjusting from k1. Long story short, it appeared our interview was waived as our original interview was scheduled, canceled, and then we received an RFE asking for evidence of our marriage and all the information we would have taken to the interview. A month after replying to the RFE, the case status was changed to “actively reviewed” on the 14th of April. Today, the 25th, our combo card EAD changed to “card is being produced.” After the first update since June? Does this make any sense haha. my question is, is this normal? Should we be worried that after our RFE was received they approved the combo card and not the green card? Is this a systems thing for them? Do they have to approve the combo card before the green card? Sorry, just stressing hahah.
