  1. It went great. The officer was super nice. And my husband answered everything correctly on the first 6 questions. He stumbled on the "Why does the flag have 13 stripes?" question and answered "because there are 50 states". haha. But the officer asked him the question again and he answered correctly and laughed. He didn't ask for any extra documents or any originals of the marriage license or my birth certificate. Only asked a few questions from the long list of repetitive questions you have to answer on the form. He congratulated him and asked him if he could attend the oath ceremony this Friday (only one week after the interview) and the jokingly said, " you don't plan on getting divorce or arrested between now and then, right?" Overall it was a good experience. I think if you make it this far they pretty well know your marriage is legit...especially if you submitted really good paperwork for your previous green card applications. Hopefully you get your interview soon and try not to stress too much! Good luck!
  2. My husband applied back Oct 1, 2001 and has his interview is tomorrow here in SLC. Yours should be happening soon hopefully. Of course he already had his 10 year green card approved last year so didn't have to worry about that.
