  1. The myProgess tab is no more seen on my account only Case Status, Case History and Documents tabs.
  2. Latest update it now the Case shows as closed. 🥳 October 1, 2025 Certificate Of Naturalization Was Issued
  3. My interview was very easy, and I completed the oath ceremony right after the interview around 9 a.m. However, my online account still shows a document stating that my interview is scheduled today at 3 p.m. I already have my Certificate of Naturalization, and I submitted my green card. I’m hoping the system will update to the correct status soon.
  4. I’ve seen a lot of YouTube videos about vocabulary definitions based on the N-400 form. Do officers actually ask about these definitions during the interview nowadays? Is this also part of passing the interview? Has anyone had recent experience with this? Is there any official study material for these definitions?
  5. Thank you for your reply. Since I already got my I-751 approved and have a 10-year green card, I don’t think my interview will be a combo interview. Do I need to print all the pictures I submitted with my N-400 application and bring them to the interview? Are phones allowed during the interview?
  6. Hi members, I got my I-751 approved and received a 10-year green card. I applied for N-400 in March 2025 and finally have my interview scheduled in a few days. I want to get advice on what to prepare for: Is the civics test still the 2008 version? Are there any moral character documents I should bring? Should I bring originals of all documents submitted with my N-400? My husband will accompany me—will he be asked questions or interviewed along with me? Any tips for the English and civics test or typical interview questions? Any recent experiences or changes in USCIS procedures that I should be aware of? Any advice or guidance from anyone with recent experience would be greatly appreciated. TIA
  7. Hi everyone, I just received my interview notice for N-400. My I-751 was already approved, and I got my 10-year green card in July 2025. I’ll be about 15 weeks pregnant when I go for my N-400 interview. Do I need to request any accommodations or bring a letter from my doctor for the interview? Or is it okay to just attend as usual? Has anyone here gone through their naturalization interview while pregnant? Any tips or experiences would be appreciated! TIA!
  8. There was an update after all — my I-751 was approved on June 27, and I received my 10-year Green Card on July 2. Now, I’m just waiting on N-400.
  9. Hello members, I have a pending I-751 applied in Mar 2024 and N-400 submitted in Mar 2025.. Just curious about email notifications I received stating "We have taken an action on your case" on May 27 and Jun 22 (it was a Sunday). When I login into the account there is no change for either applications. Interestingly under n-400 myProgress tab I see Estimated time until your case decision: 2 Weeks Anyone getting such notifications and did it cause any real movement in the status? Not sure how long the wait is going to be!? TIA.
  10. 3. This is the section for question 3 above I'm referring to. How many times have you been married? Include your current marriage, any marriages before or during your current marriage, marriages in the United States, marriages in other countries, annulled marriages, civil marriages, customary or religious marriages, marriages to other people, and marriages to the same person, whether or not the marriage was registered with a government. If you were married to the same person more than one time, count each time as a separate marriage. 4. 12. Hi Members, Have some specific question for my n-400 online filling. I am filling based on 3 year rule of married to US citizen. I provided a different email than what my uscis account was created, in your contact information section, should that be fine? How many children do you have? This would only accept numeric values. Instructions say type or print “None” unless otherwise directed. Do I need to put 0 and explain in a letter of explanation what I can upload in "Additional Information" section How many times have you been married? We had church marriage too and have a certificate from our church weeding. Is it safe to put 2 and do I need to attach any additional documents for this. On what date did your current spouse become a U.S. citizen? Does the issuance date go here? My husband got citizenship due to naturalization (born outside US). The certificate he has contains 2 dates one in 1996 and the other one in 1997 (this has issuance date before it). I'm understanding I have to use the date from 1997 for this question. I want to upload I-797 for pending I-751, does this go in "Additional Evidence" or "Additional Information" section. Anyone has format for the request for combo interview when I-751 is pending. Is it a good idea to attach one, does this go in "Additional Evidence" or "Additional Information" section. I am attaching: - Marriage certificate, bank statements, tax return transcripts, account transcripts, health insurance proof, mortgage statements. Anything else missing, any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks a lot.
  13. I don’t know all the applications show under this very same account hence I am confused if I should keep using it or create a fresh new account with my emailId.
  14. The other account is for myself only just that it was created using my husband (USC) email. But it’s for all my personal details and all my previous applications like 129F,485,131,765 and recently 751 are associated with this existing uscis account.
  15. @OldUser so creating new uscis account with LPR email should not be a problem even though older applications are linked with the USC email account. I just hope it does not get confusing and create any trouble with new account for same person i.e LPR.
  16. Hello Members, I'm a LPR since 05/10/2022 (this is the date since when I am LPR and GC expired on 05/10/2024) and as I understand my eligibility date starts from 02/09/2025 based on the 3 year rule as I am married to a USC. My I-751 is still actively being reviewed for about a year, I submitted it on Feb 29, 2024. I have before queries if someone can assist: I have an uscis account with my spouse (US citizen) email but it's for myself, can I use the same account or do I need to create a new uscis account with my email? All my previous applications like 485, 131 and 751 etc are attached to this online account. This account was created by my husband back in the days when we started our K1 application. Everything is to be submitted online there is no paper forms involved for n400? Are people here preparing for civic test after submitting the n400 online or after they get their interview scheduled? Is all the material available on the uscis website or there is other online material also that people prepare from? Is it better that one gets scheduled for combo (both pending I-751 and n400) interview and its there a way to ensure that happens? any other tips before getting started with the N-400 filling process? Thanks for taking the time to read through my questions and would really appreciate feedback from members who have information to share. Regards.
  17. Thank you @OldUser Yes, we have joint tax return transcripts with fill names on it.But again has previous address. This year with our new home address we have not filled the tax return yet. Also have full names on insurance, 401k beneficiaries. Should I provide any explanation on cover letter for maiden name on joint account? By the way should utility bills be submitted that have both names on it, usually I setup the service provider and they put only one person’s name on the account that shows on bills
  18. 1. Is grant deed along with mortgage and homeowner's insurance enough proof for new property we both purchased? I am the conditional resident and my name is only displayed as first and last name on these docs. I have a middle name as well which is my maiden last name but is not displayed on these docs, would that be a problem. Do I need to mention anything in the cover letter? 2. Me and my spouse have joint bank account since we got married before filling AOS, I just realized that the bank account shows my maiden name and not married name, would that be an issue? I am going to try and get a letter from bank saying we hold joint account since xyz date with both our full names on it if possible. All the previous joint account state are with maiden name would that cause issue!? 3. Have all utlity bills but on some of those the bills it just has my name without middle name. Under the account authorized user is where I can see spouse name. Would bills in my name without middle name and account details page to show spouse name be good for submission. Should I only submit utility bills if they have both names. 4. Docs like license, passport, ssn, tax, medical insurance has full name so hoping that should be enough. Appreciate your response and feedback.
  19. We bought our first home last year and I am going to submit below proofs for I-751 ROC application related to this: -grant deed -mortgage statement (around 5) -HOA statement (around 5) -Homeowners insurance policy and renewal bill -4 different utility provider bills -tax document for last 2 years -supplement property tax bill Am I missing anything above please advise. Some questions for above points: 1. Grant deed is enough or do I submit any other document pertaining the new house purchase 2. Tax return form is 1040 or should I submit the IRS Transcripts as well TIA
  20. Do I need to submit the screenshot from USCIS Online Account when I submit the ROC? Do I need to provide some letter of explanation mentioning about my previous and current address?
  21. My spouse is added to the account just that the mailing address has my name alone. Maybe I can print the account information page along with bills when I send as part of proof. Hopefully not having my middle name on the account should be fine.
  22. Preparing to send ROC by end of Feb, my 90 days window opened on Feb 10. I have lot of evidences just that most of our new house documents/utility bills have my first name and last name. I do have a middle name which is actually my maiden last name. Should that be an issue when submitting such documents with only first name and last name. All my GC, driver's license and foreign passport have first middle and last name printed. Moreover since I setup all the utility bills they only have my name (first and last name, I'm the conditional resident) and do not have my husband's name on those. Should that be any problem?
  23. I did the submission from USCIS website from my online account, not sure if that is called AR11. Yes I do have the screenshot of the page that says I submitted change of address online with a confirmation number and status as "Submitted".
  24. Hello members, My conditional green card (K1 visa) expires in May '24 and I am preparing for filling Removal of Conditions I-751 currently. I moved to different city in the same state in 2023 where I applied for my green card I-485 initially. I updated my address on USCIS website in mid Jan'24 and the status only said submitted all this while and today I checked the record in no more shown on the USCIS under Address change submissions. I will be using my new address for the I-751 and even the older address my in-laws are residing. I am hoping I do not have to do any other steps in order to notify USCIS about address change as currently I do not have any active case being processed. Does USCIS notify by email or letter to acknowledge the address change without any active case (receipt number)? Appreciate any feedback or suggestions if you had similar situation. TIA.
  25. The ones you submitted were those affidavits notarized or just signed and dated? I can get affidavits but can both of them be from family members (father-in-law and brother-in-law) or they have to be someone other than the family, just curious in case I want to send as well.
