  1. I just got one more day added to the adjudication date...now its sept. 26....this is bull!!!!!!! it was the 14th friday now this..this is getting so annoying!!!!!!!!! im getting tired of it!

I think everyone's timeline are having extra days added. We haven't heard of many approvals lately. Therefore, this means that the service centers are slower in their processing time than previously.

I can sense much frustration on this message board lately. I myself include.

What can we do? Seems we can't do anything and are hopeless, only thing to do is wait.

I have heard the phrase patience is a virtue, too bad I am not so virtuous.

  2. Happy Monday May Filers! So, I have a question...I called CSC on Friday and got the usual touch later that afternoon. BUT I got another touch today, three days later. Anyone else call on Friday and get a touch today? I don't want to get my hopes up yet again, but it seems weird to get a touch that many days later. Oh please let it be NOA2!!!!

Good luck to everyone this week!

I have read in other posts that a call to the USCIS will generate 2 touches...

I have called USCIS many times and never got a touch! NEVER! It also happen to another VJ members.....so I don't know how true is that...

The only touch I got was when I called about not receiving my NOA1.

Since then, all my phone calls did not result in any new touches.

So I think and hope you will receive good news soon.

  3. Of the May filers who have not received your NOA2's, who is past their VJ timeline estimate and if past the date, by how many days?. Just curious

Ours says 6th September but we are not even getting touches at the minute and with people getting no help on the phone or being given discouraging info like 2 more months, we don't know what to do and are very distraught.

So basically at this point we are 3 days over our VJ timeline and 128 days since our NOA1.

    :unsure::wacko::help:

My timeline is similar to yours. Your NOA1 is a few days earlier than mine. I have not gotten any touches.

When I called, I got the same answer you got, they are working on applications in Feb/Mar. Lady also said my file was not assigned to anyone yet. It is hard when you hear a response like that. We all know that some applications sent in later than ours have already been approved (mostly in VSC of course ) so hopefully, ours will also be coming soon. A little bit more patience, we will all be jumping for joy shortly.

  4. Timeline:

    May 1 - Sent I-129F

May 4 - Signed at TSC

May 7 - NOA1 on website - Case sent to CSC

    May 9 - Check cashed.

Been over a month now since I first sent the package, when can I expect to receive my hardcopy NOA1?

Looks like we have same timeline, Guess I will keep an eye out on your case to see if we get approval at same time. Good Luck.

Thanks. Good luck to you too. You should give USCIS a call since you also didn't receive your NOA1 hardcopy.

  5. I sent mine on April 10th, and have an NOA-1 of April 20th. I never received a hardcopy. Some people do, some in the past have never seen one.

I called USCIS today and was told that they seemed to have forgotten to send me my hardcopy of the NOA1. The lady said that I should look for it in the mail in 2-4 weeks.

The NOA1.... is it just a formal letter acknowledging receipt of visa application or can it be a RFE??
