Hey Yardies. How are you all doing?? It's been a long time but I thought I'd pop in to say hello to all. Hope all is well with everyone and that the New Year has brought new adventures and good news for all. Hey all, we made it to Philly late last night or early this morning...

My cuz baby is absolutly adorable.... she had her days and night confused so she was up bascially all night... I slept thru most of it though.. Hubby keeps telling me to leave the people them pickney alone and go breed... but when he saw that I slept thru all the crying whenever the baby woke up, he realized that I may not be ready!!! lol....

Glad you mde it there safe K. A hit the nail on the head...lol

I am leaving to go to the States tonite for my cousins wedding on Friday. I dont know if I am excited for the wedding or the sales on Saturday!

Good Morning All!

Thanks HeavenSent and Sunray! It went so fast in retrospect. I need to book his ticket now...he will be coming mid or end of August. This has been 5 years in the making and I am estatic! I'm still in shock that there will be no more trips to see my man and saying goodbye to him for months at a time until I can book the next flight. It feels great! I wish I could travel back with him...but this process has tapped my funds a LOT!!!

Next big hurdle is AOS...such an unjustified sum of money! GEEZZ!!

I haven't posted on here in ages (my bad) but was part of the original thread that started about 4 years ago. I just wanted to share that there is hope that the visa journey can eventually come to an end.

This past Friday, 4 years and 4 days since my husband arrived in the US on his K-1 Visa, he was naturalized as a US Citizen. We are very excited and are happy to put the "journey" behind us. God bless everyone of you and your families and as always, let me know if you have any questions, I am always happy to help in any way that I can.

We are going to Ocean City in July for a long weekend - 3 of us are going down Thurs - Sun (was supposed to be 4), and 3 more weren't sure if they could come - this weekend they said they were coming down on Friday, so I emailed them the link to where I booked - now they have an attitude cause they thought I booked a room for all of us - Hello, we are ADULTS, not college partiers - 6 women in 1 room with 1 bathroom is way too many people - For one night, maybe - for an entire weekend?

Well Louis got his letter from the USCIS and AOS was approved. They don't need him to do anything else. Said he should have his GC within 3 weeks time. YAY!

That was good news, then.... he got laid off from his job! That sucks! So we are on the job hunt again.

Hope you all had a great weekend, and have a great Monday! I have to get some work done - or at least pretend I am getting some work done!
